in the first place britain did own a Grippen D for 19 years
A friend of mine send me this.
I hope it a fake cause that will kill and burry naval mode.
" 1. High-cumulative warhead rocket weighed 480 kilogram. The rocket reached subsonic flight speed in 320 m / s, and the maximum range of the first modifications reached forty kilometers at an altitude of 100-200 meters above the water surface."

those badly photrographed ones seem to be all made by the same person they are pretty much proven as fake
Which is a plane that is currently using for training in Swedish soil, taking care of by Swedish engineers and also unarmed version.
Another logic that doesnt make any sense.
Not to mention Uk actually doesnt own that Gripen.
no until 2018 one was loaned to britain and was used in britain
İt was used for training and lended to UK under certain contracts.
Uk doesnt own a Gripen and surely they didnt operated under RAF colours.
man you realy are against diverstiy in tech trees and dont want to help a struggling tree that doesnt have any fighters
Similar to how the USA loaned Italy it’s F-16s
He’s like a petulant child crying because another kid has the same toy as him.
We already have the Albatros Class ingame which could launch Exocet missiles but they are nowhere to be found.
I can agree with their point somewhat. Diversity in a tree shouldn’t come at the cost of diversity between trees.
Because at what point don’t we just delete all trees and add every vehicle just in a big world tree?
Gaijin already have modelling of exocet already but think it is too early to give it
Hmmmmm if that turns out to be true this update might be pretty interesting.
Currently yes, yes it is.
Well, that’s the thing, you disagreeing with this decision will not make the 2A6 disappear.
I’m personally against the Gripen addition to the British TT (well, I WAS at least), but I’d lie if I said I don’t get their point
Sweden and China get preferential treatment when it comes to “subtrees”, the SA subtree was pretty much just indigenous and unique vehicles made by South Africa, meanwhile Sweden and China get the “best of” copy paste from other nations.
You can argue that SA is more fun and unique, but you’d lie if you said China/Sweden didn’t get the better deal in terms of quality out of the 2 subtree “options”.
If Sweden gets to have a T-80, Leo 2A6 (and various other vehicles, probably even an Abrams and Leclerc in the future judging by the addition of the T 80, AHS and Mi-28) and China gets to have an F-5, F-16 (Mirage 2K and Abrams in the future), I don’t see why other countries can’t enjoy that same treatment (for example Thai VT-4 for Japan and SA Gripen for Britain)
It would seem a little unfair if Gaijin suddenly stopped with these strange additions, right after Sweden and China already got to have their fun (unless those vehicles get removed, which is unrealistic)
well i am all for a combined nato air tree at one point, because at one point only russia, us and china would keep getting stuff
true wasnt swedens whole heli tree mostly evaluated stuff? gotta love the double standards
Honestly at this point that might be better, It’s not like there is any consistency in the matchmaker at this point, any nation can fight any nation including itself so a universal tree would just help to make the grind less annoying I think.
I know there rare, but I’m hoping for a Saturday dev blog
Making a mistake once doesn’t mean it has to be repeated.
Unfortunately we’ve been moving in this direction for years. Biggest transgressor initially was Sweden, but now the problem is spreading to the point where the only trees lacking vehicles will be US and USSR, because everyone else will have vehicles from both those countries and every other random second/third-rate Cold War military.
