i dont even play britain and wouldnt start it because it will be to similar to germany top tier,
but you are denying diversity to other trees without reason only because you dont want US toys in other trees and britain has a reason to get a Grippen they did use a trainer Grippen for more then 18years and we already have trainer aircraft in the game that got weaponized , there is no reason to not give britain a Grippen

Silly vehicles like rocket cars facing 1940s designs just because the stupid rocket firing car isn’t that good.

The UK grippen flew under the official ETPS and was marked as such, it is part of the military

The ETPS is neither part of the RAF or RN… and that Gripen, unless I’ve gone blind, is still carrying the insignia of the Swedish Air Force… because that’s who owns it.
Again I don’t understand because it doesn’t make sense, it just sounds like needless gatekeeping, if they add a South African tree before the Typhoon then the Gripen will go in that tree, it’s insane to assume otherwise, it would be like Germany not getting the MiG-29 just because that is also Russia’s current top aircraft, your argument just doesn’t make sense
We have a French P-51 with US markings in the French tree.
ETPS was the contract providier for both sides in order to train RAF pilots in Gripen.
Even Gripen does have ETPS symbol rather then RAF on that picture and last time i checked Empire Test Pilots School wasnt exactly equal to RAF.

I still don’t know why you’re telling me this.
Comparing German Mig29 to SA Gripen in this situation is one of most stupid thing you can do.
Germany was one of the main operators for Mig29 while RAF didnt operate single Gripen.
You want to get best Swedish fighter jet before gettin Typhoon so you can fill that gap, thats a very cheap move to getting access to that plane.
Uk should recieve either Typhoon models or Cheetah first , after that Gripen should come to tree.
