Outside that they did confirm it for this year that seams like a good egnuth reason for me
really ?
besides their MBTs and the Piranha, they do not really have anything unique to them
We have enough copy paste vehicles in the game already
I think the cooperation for the improvement of the Panzer 68 and later on the purchase of Leo 2s / production of the 120 mm ammunition is enough of a reason for that.
What alternatives does France have?
Especially in the MBT area.
Between the amx 30 and the leclerc, there simply is not much to be added. Besides the Amx 32/40. But those stand alone in th 9.7 area.
Maybe we could get some more prototypes, if there are any. but these still could not build up a whole lineup.
It’s for you
I have here a link of someones interpretation of how a Swiss tree could look with information on each vehicle. I think it would be worth a watch for you, as I think you’ll be pleasantly surprised with how little copy/paste Switzerland has.
I recommend no saying “we have enough copy/paste” if you don’t even know what the country has to offer.
So should we add a Turkish sub-tree for Israel because they worked on two projects together?
This is a case where a sub-tree is way too excessive for the reasons given and you’d be better off adding the single fitting vehicle in the German tree rather than taking away an entire potential nation.
There are a few Leclerc variants yet to be added such as the Terminateur as well as an astounding amount of ground vehicles.
The AMX-10P family, VAB family, ERC-90, AMX-10RC modifications, VBL variants, EBRC Jaguar, VBCI Family and air defence systems such as the Crotale.
There is more than plenty to bolster the French lineups, be it at low or high tier.
I am sorry to disapoint you
But the F9F Panther is not in the german Tree yet :/

Ru tech tree only adepts and moderators cleaning all coments with another opinion
Keep in mind, currently is the Gamescom in Germany, maybe Gaijin wants to anounce something?^^
small things, 2A7 cant use DM11 only Leo 2A7V it needs a fruther upgraded gun that the 2A7 doesnt have, i find it a bit funny people are comparing the Leo 2A7 to the Armata…
This is my always war for German tech tree. All leopards that have programmer can use DM-11, as example: MBT revolution ?
Technically the T 14 Armata isn’t anythin too strong compared to a Sep or a 2a7V
But it would still wreck the leclercs and Arietes
We may argue about the T14 and its performance further, but what already happened on youtube was enough for me.
That tank will be end of russian tech tree. In my opinion
An acm system is needed, not completly sure if the normal Leopars 2A7 can, the germans news released article in particular naming 2A7V testing the DM11
They haven’t been to that in years
The T14 Armata is a generation 4 tank, the Leopard only an upgraded generation 3. The equivalent to the T14 is the K51 Panther, or do you want to say that the KF51 is vastly superior to any other russian tank?
No, they havent been there for years
yeah that other nations would be the abrams X, or the EMBT
But then they would have an even smaller aviation tech tree to suport their tanks. I could not find many proposals here though.
Well yes, i was surprised by the number of vehicles the swiss have worked on.
But the majority of Tanks here are Prototypes.
And some of those could simply be added to other nations, like the sk 105A2.
It would be technically possible for them to get a tech tree.
But at the same time I have never even seen a Tech tree branch that consist mostly of prototypes.
Most of those vehicles look like nice event rewards for me, like the Turans or the Merkavas in the US tree.
We do not know what Gaijins plans are. There was also a interesting proposal for a south African tech tree btw.
and they still ended up as a sub tree, with their MBTs and lights. The same could happen to the swiss.
It always depends on the possible amount of vehicles a nation might have for the game. I do not know how many tanks each nation posesses or how hard it is to get reliable information for them. But in some cases, it is way more practical to simply introduce a new sub tree, like it would have been the case with Israel.
They would still be lacking in the MBT area wich is my main concern
To talk about this further, I would need to talk about politics.
It may be marketed as a gen 4 tank, but that does not mean that it is capable of dealing with a kf 51 panther that can launch Drones and had roughly 8 more years of development.
Plus the kf may not even be the final product of the german next gen MBT project. Germany and France are still working on a next gen MBT if I remember correctly.
At the same time the Armata still uses the outdated autoloadercarousel design from the 1960s.
EMBT is a project of KMW and Nexter, that may be on German and French trees both
