I could definitely see that happening, it would give Sweden a 12.0 for now in a similar vein to the F-16A Block 10 with only AIM-9L and the some decent A2G armament as well.

A new rank is also every 3 years on average.
Rank 7 was honestly late for what it was. Should’ve included all MBTs from around 1980 in 2018/2019. Instead it was added in 2021.
@BearHasLanded Gripen with only 9Ls would be 11.7, and 12.3 is happening regardless.
if they add 5th Gen jets in 3 years and add the F-35 all together like they did the Starfighters then The Luftwaffe and warthunder players can at the same time get used to the new aircraft
So i’ve been busy spliting my time into grinding event, work and family(i know no one cares) so i don’t have much time to check the forum, do we got any leak/confirmation of Fox 3 for this update or nothing yet? Since they confirmed it for an future update i’m waiting for that
Nothing yet. No aircraft have been shown which might cause us to speculate further.
The F-16 with only 9Ls is 12.0 and their overall capabilities should be very similar, the Gripen and the F-16 have very similar design philosophies, so I don’t why it wouldn’t be 12.0 as well.
I also never said anything about 12.3, though now that you’ve brought it up I would expect the first 12.3 to be the F-15A coming maybe December this year but that’s just my own prediction.

it would probably be better in some aspects than F-16A
Gripen is slower, but more countermeasures.
Gripen has better low speed capabilities.
F-15C is coming regardless because of Japan, and can come at anytime.

Rank 6 was 2017. 2023-2017=6. 6/2 new ranks = 3.
And as proven with all 1980+ tanks going to rank 7, 2021 was well late for rank 7.
The K2000 is debated to be fox 3 capable however the IAF used it exclusively as an A2G platform and I don’t think there is any documentation of the loading the K2000 with AMRAAMs so it’s unlikely it will ever have them in game.

They will add Su27 alongside F-15
they could add Su27 alongside F-15
but I dont see them leaving MiG-25s out
Hopefully they will add Su15s soon
MiG-25s wont be the top fighter for USSR when F-15 is added.

but PD/PDS with R-40RD/TD and R-60M or R-73 could
and I’d not be surprised if they wait with R-73 on usable airframes for a later modification of thing to get them
possibly, NATO really needs some better missiles before the SU-27 comes in with 4/6 R-73 and 4/6 R-27, but if NATO gets the AIM-9M and AIM-7P Block II to level the playing field or if Russia loses the R-27ER then yes the SU-27 could very well come to the game alongside the F-15.
I personally wouldn’t hold my breath for it and expect it will come a patch or two later but again that’s just my own predictions.
