It can be annoying. Though i will do it when they dont deserve the kill credit.
Biggest example from grb. If you want to be salty and rush your plane at my top top right after i killed you.

And - surprise - you decide who deserves.
That is pure entitlement.
ok.
I will go fly up high down the middle in top tier air rb so that some people can get some free kills just for you.
Please explain the connection between what I said and what you responded.
You seemed upset that i was not giving people free kills so i offered to give some people free kills.

Game mechanics integrity has nothing to do with balancing specific vehicles, nor its resultant moral issues.
Just give us kill credit for the nearest guy to the person who crashed, or who’s missiles were closest to hitting the person who crashed gets kill credit.
Ive seen it alot after i got my Top tier British SPAA, basically every time i lock someone they just spear their plane into the ground.
With a 3Km radius no less xD
To be fair mate you do it xD I’ve seen you do it slamming yourself into the deck to deny someome kills.
It does happen, constantly mate people constantly throw themselves into the ground to avoid awarding kills in ARB.
But by the time you make contact, the max repair cost has usually been hit (at least in my experience)
Not sure. I have seen it a few times yesterday. But in all cases, it could simply be a manouvre kill. Turning deltas low in hilly terrain. I crashed myself a few times like that and had no intention to do so. I’d apply Hanlon’s Razor.
Depends on BR and playstyle. This usually takes 10mins or more for higher ranks
i mean i mostly crash because i mess up to properly multipath. But even then it would be a manuever kill and i think a simple If missle is tracking and player crashes into the ground while tracking then it gives you the kill. simple and effective.
I have done a few times.
Yeah, if you’ve got a missile within…I don’t know, maybe 2km? It should count
Edit:honestly, if someone is within 2km and you slam into the ground they should get the kill. Yeah, I’m sure there would be some “undeserved” kills but I feel as though if you are that close to someone there is a chance they are the reason you slammed into the ground.
This is by far the best solution on here, and fits in nicely with the j out reward already in game, which would make it easier to implement. 2km makes sense at higher BRs, but at reserve-4.0 most engagements happen much closer than 2km, so it would definitely need some adjustment to fit all the ranks.
Victim has to be “selected” in order for a kill credit.
The fact you say you’ve seen it a few times in one day means its happening too frequently.
Im not talking bout some poor sod over doing it and giving the earth another kill , im talking about those who deliberately will nose dive or do their best to crash.
Which has been a recurring event in the game for some time now , especially at BRs more laden with premiums
Maneuver kills should be likr assists or something ro thst effect
But I made it clear that it seems to me most likely manouvre kills.
You said it could be, but no way to certify that.
I had a lad in a gripen crash the other day which i thought was an error, then type in chat telling me to get Fkd that he’d rather a crew lock than die to mig29smt.
It’s difficult to tell.
“That player doesn’t deserve kill credit because I say so and it’s all about me.”
