Does launcher 1 gets priority over launcher 2 when it comes to firing the weapon using the radar unit? or it’s based on target range as the launcher closer to the target will fire first?
If I placed launchers at two locations, and I detect a target and fire using the radar unit, if launcher unit 1 cannot see the target but launcher 2 could, launcher 2 will fire the missile or I have to manually switch to it?
This is interesting, does better means FCS system isn’t disabled or out of ammo? Or there is more details. I have a lot of questions because I ran a few match in assault mode to test it and I deployed two launchers, both are active, only one fires through radar control unit.
I do not know what is the logic behind it, i never looked deeply into it, however it will choose the “better” launcher out of the 2, even if both are in perfect condition.
Also only one will fire per click. So if you press launch one, only one that the game chose will fire once.
I crewed three today, the NASAMs, IRST and the BUK, they also behaved slightly differently as I find NASAM will still fire at the first target even after I switch to the second one like there is a delay, but IRST and BUK doesn’t seem to have this problem as soon as I switch the target and fire then it will fire at the second target. This is a problem if I were to intercept ammunitions.
