New AI to allow for AI to no longer use their own proprietary “AI flight model”, and use the weapons of all aircraft… that’s needed. At least the AAMs and dumb bombs.
As well as adaptive to environments.

Also being simpler to code would make more ground tasks available.

What I want to see is up to 24x24 sim matches, where AI fills slots that players don’t.
And we’ve been seeing the results of much of their AI development thankfully, and here’s hoping they can make the air AI as good as it needs to be and exceed that as well.

While I don’t play top tier jets, I occasionally try to fly out my korean birds and EC does nothing to make them more playable. In fact, if anything, the rotating & fixed BR brackets make it far more frustrating to play after you go above prop BRs.

At Prop BRs, Sim EC is a pretty fun game mode despite its flaws.

At korean jets? Pain.

Above korean jets? The few times I gave my F8U a try, it was even more pain and that was in an overpowered plane.

SB EC as is works mostly because it’s SB with SB limitations.

It is an option. You can choose to not play it. It WOULD greatly enhance my enjoyment so I do want it added.

Maybe, development wasnt the quite the right word. I was misremembering what was said, but certainly being considered.

The evidence is, that it is free to play game and this model in well known - Frustrate players into spending money. The problem is, Im not F2P player, I have premium account and I buy premiums here and there, mostly during sales. Yet Im frustrated even though I pay them. I believe the biggest reason why Gaijin keeps the +1-1 BR matchmaking system is to frustrate stock players in an uptier.

RB EC, i don’t really think it would help… though i want it as a game mode anyway.
For jets you need markerless RB (like SEAD event) . For many reasons. And creates possibilities for other things to enrich gameplay if you want to.
Though, you can combine it with EC … but i believe EC in general will become a campfest/grindfest and nothing else.
So in mind the only thing i could see to be a ^today^ solution is markerless RB. And it will solve the majority of 9,3 and above tiers’ problems.

The problem, however, in all the game is called GJ and they clearly incapable to create any kind of good gameplay/maps…
I’m waiting for them 12 years to see a fix in gameplay, and i’m convinced it’s not that they don’t want to (they ^tried to do something here and there^) , they are just not capable of doing it.
You need some fantasy , ideas maybe read some books how battles were fought…try recreate some patterns…
They have the tools… they are just incapable in that department.

The matchmaker is great, there’s like <1.3 BRs left of compression left.
13.0 and 9.3 for air as an example.

LMAO, tell that the SU33 fighting a Typhoon, the F4S fighting the SU33, the MIG-23M fighting the F4S…

I can continue this line down to 1.0 if you will. These aren’t even the worst contenders for “should never see most planes it faces in a 1.0 uptier”, I think attackers are literally just overtiered because gaijin thinks “bomber bad”.

Nothing is going to change, enjoy your untrackable F-22 spamming AIM 9X and AIM 120Cs while you are literally unable to fight them. Until a year later, where you will have the Su-57, which will be nerfed into the ground (just like the Su-30), the J-20 (which Gaijin will make useless, just like the rest of China), and the F-35 (every country will have it).

Stealth is not untrackable, it’s reduced visibility.
Su-30 currently is accurate, and F-22 will likely come with all other stealth aircraft.

Oh it’s accurate for sure ;-) totally wasn’t nerfed to garbage because US mains couldn’t handle not being the best for one update.
Also, in case you forgot, America usually gets the best air stuff and dominates for an update or two until Gaijin puts in an aircraft that rivals it (then American mains freak out and claim this game hates them).

It wasn’t “nerfed” to garbage. There was a limitation in the code around cobra maneuvers that caused the Sukhois to have a flight model similar to F-15

And currently, all Sukhois are 100% accurate to real life.

Still doesn’t change the fact that all Sukhois are currently fixed and entirely accurate as of over 8 months ago.

But the Su 30 came out like a few months ago, so how can it be fixed and accurate if it wasn’t accurate to begin with?

Then the Su-30SM came out in perfect condition.
Also if you want to emulate real-life pilots start with 20 - 25 minutes of fuel.

Perfect position my arse, I’ve seen less broken things at Ground Zero. I hate myself for grinding Russia just to get the Su-30 day one, and it turned out to not be the Strike Eagle Destroyer like it was supposed to be.
