If you are a ground main then you are going to love it. More SPAAs = more foods for your mbts, time to pad your kd bro
except the only thing that reliably can kill the Mi28s that farm MBTs is jets, and this will shut them down even more than they already are
and again further ensuring that russia will have air superiority in game to abuse their overpowered CAS
because why would anyone else spawn CAS now with this and its interception capability
Because the russian are alwys getting op SPAAs. Compare an ADATS to the Pantsir. Tbf the BUK isnt that dangerous but the pantsir is still one of the best, if not the best SPAA at Top Tier. And now we are getting a tracked pantsir with double the range and with Mach 5 missles. Russia is dominating on Top Tier. KH-38 MT vs. AGM-65, LMUR vs. AGM-179, Pantsir vs. ADATS. And thats just compared to the US. The only vehickes that are balanced in the russian top zier lineup are the MBTs
This really got me laughing. Well, that’s what they call fair and balanced
Fitze Fatze 389
KH-38 MT vs. AGM-65, LMUR vs. AGM-179, Pantsir vs. ADATS
b-b-but server statistics 😡
Something this, something that, blah blah blah, anyway, NATO player’s skill issue
Yes, I have been dying to CAS like 7 out of 10 matches, that’s why we need a tank only mode bro CAS is like cancer that introduces so many balance problems, at this point its like repeatedly punch holes into a water tank and putting tapes (SPAAs bro) to stop the leak which is temporary. Screw this bro but I am killing their SPAA so it indirectly make ways for my team to spam CAS, there is no other way
Radar is unusable
And before we had Pantsir it was “waaa pantsir means every aircraft is dead”, and then it was “baaa buk means every aircraft is dead”. May we already face the simple fact that neither of those became true? Neither of those made F-16s spam AGM65s less useful. It just made them think before spamming on the respawn.
What are you talking about Pantsir was the reason NATO CAS was near useless.
It is only with increase in longer range ordinance that made dealing with Pantsir possible.
Or do you forget trying to use a laser guided bomb and just dying to a Pantsir player that had a half a braincell.
Only a vertical dive with AGM-65 was NATOs counter
Now we are giving a Pantsir a Radar upgrade, more missiles and a huge range increase.
Lets do a scenario…Pantsir can now carry 6 standard missiles and 24 long range kinetic interceptors.
Rafale has 6 Hammer
Typhoon has 6 Spike
Ah-64E has 16 JAGM
A single Pantsir SV SM can intercept everything.
No other SAM in the game can do that.
This alone wins games, while NATO IR and Radar SAMS cannot reliably deal with an Mi-28…
“was the reason” until players learned not to use AGM65 from the spawn
Huh? Laser Guided Bomb?
My A-6E can be easilly shot down while laser guided bombing with anything it meets, including Stinger and OSA. Pantsir was never added to stop those. It was intended to destroy the AGM65-ish spamming machinery. And barely managed to do so, as the easy counter is flying low altitude.
More than that, those bombs actually manage to kill it. As intercepting them is a menace
OSA was added after Pantsir, as was Strella.
The Pantsir came after Tunguska.
OSA shooting down something now is not relevant.
AGM-65 was strong but short range, hellfire was pointless. The only way anyone killed a Pantsir, was hoping it was shooting something else or the player was scrolling on their phone.
It would be 6 long range kinetic and 24 8km range small interceptors, don’t spread misinformation please, it’s already bad enough we’re getting a not needed aa but at least have the facts right and this is coming from someone who plays Russia, definitely not needed but it is what it is
The long range pantsir missile is not kinetic, It explodes when it reaches the distance of the target.
at least have the facts right
That is because of the ahead mechanic, my point is still valid, it doesn’t have a proxy fuse, if you shoot it without radar lock it requires a direct hit but if you use the radar it will act like a suedo proxy through the new mechanic they added
yes but no matter what fuse it has, it is chemical not kinetic. It has a warhead that exploads
The point is it requires a direct hit, you do also realize that some of the more modern “kinetic” missile interceptors in use irl have small amounts of explosive in them and I would say 700g compared to the warhead of the previous pantsir is pretty small
Edit: while most “kinetic” weapons rely on speed and inertia to destroy targets more modern systems have small explosives and either require a direct hit or “DL” to trigger its explosive
NATO only can use ground power
Russian keep air advantage to
