So we will get ANOTHER russian spaa?

The dev server is out; test it, mate. Tell me if it great or absolutely rubbish.

Honestly only benefit for other nations I can see with this addition is that not every lvl 10 will have access to a Pantsir anymore. Buk M3 will be arguably less annoying to fight against.

Judging by this video (https://youtu.be/907qb5vkVng?si=B1u_lTk81Mn2Cps5) its dogwater. Radar is unstable and missiles are similar to ahead. If you ever played puma you know ahead is much worse than normal prox fuse. Just look at 1:07-1:33.
Yea you could use normal 95ya6 but whats point then? You have those at 12.0. On kamaz chassis which is legend for post soviet countries.
My expectations were too high.

Considering its russian, I would not be suprised if it gets fixed without anyone having to bug report it

this spaa is from 2025 … is in deverlopment but gaijin add in game… "Based on reports from early 2025, the Pantsir-SM-SV (the tracked, armored version intended for land forces) has begun deployment to the Russian armed forces, but the exact number built is not public. "

At least it does exist (even if the missile itself may not exist)

This is the main issue. Gaijin essentialy is adding an F22 Raptor because the F15E is slightly worse than the EF2000 statwise.

I dont know if id call it an F22 but russia is certainly not the nation most in need of a second top tier SPAA

Before we had multi vehicle SAMs Pantsir was the best SAM and now looking at the Dev, mach 5.0, 75G missiles, 40km range. Any aircraft that spawns is dead. Any helicopter that spawns that is not Russian is dead.

This is going to skew game balance

Now go look at the Zenturion’s video and see how good that missile really is.

Looks pretty good to me even at 1.5km jet in full turn the missile is hitting.
Some tweaks to the AHEAD style fusing and it will be even better.

Shooting jets at 1.5km away is what makes an AA good at 12.7.
Good to know.

More pantsirs/spaa = more feeder food. More feeders = more nukes bro

Well its a good indication of how agile the missile is.
And for longer range a mach 5.0 missile with a 35km range.

Guess you can have it all as Russians

If you are winning the game and camping the spawn sure. Doesnt matter what vehicle they have if you just camp and drive them back to the spawn.

Realistic scenario, you deal with event T-72 or premium T-80UE in your aircraft and they spawn a free Pantsir.

It’s ridiculous how easily one reaches nuke requirement now, like 5/10 games you will hit 2000sp because of enemy SPAAs.

I actually sit behind spawn on this one, the amount of feeder pantsirs just throws the match. Endgame Abrams has 13.3x optic it is impossible to miss a shot.

Did you expect 40km deathzone or something?

Even IRIS-T struggles to intercept jets around 1-3km with much more advanced munition.

Seems like your idea of good SPAA is basically no fly zone at any distance, sadly thats not how it works in both irl and ingame.

Yes, it missing a maneuvering plane at ~10km few times in a row is a good indication.

No ?

No ?

Got to love the addition of introducing a new SPAA for Russia in the BR gap of 12.7 to 12.7
