We GRB players are strongly against the new respawn point mechanic. While the new SPAAs are ruining the ground - air balance, CAS players wouldn’t be able to have a second chance to help their teammates fighting on the ground if the new respawn point mechanic were deployed in a future version. It will destroy the enthusiasm of the pilots who are fond of GRB. I’m afraid it will have a bad influence on the premium aircraft packs.🥲

Yes that’s the point. It’s a nerf to CAS SP cost, which is a good thing, and It also doesn’t need CAP too.

It massively buffs CAP whilst simutaneously balancing CAS between nations.
Im interested in some exact details of this change and I could see some refinement needed, but this will stop things like the Soviets spawning in the SU-30 spamming off KH-38MTs and then being able to respawn and do the same again in the SU-34.
Whilst nations like Sweden and Germany only get a single usable top tier aircraft because their next CAS aircraft is too low to ever be of use.
Sweden is notable here. They can bring Gripen A now to top tier. Sure its not got as good CAS or CAP as the Gripen C. But its usable in both and far more capable than the AJS37

I think a fair compromise would be to increase the spawn cost of SPAAs when they use anti-tank belts for their guns.

I’d say it will balance the CAS abilities between countries, especially between France, USSR and other countries. But it makes the unbalance between SPAAS and aeroplanes even worse. If snail must deploy this mechanic, I think it will be ok to introduce advanced ARMs like AGM88 into WT.

There is still a massive imbalance between nations CAS loadouts as well. Because
SAL Brimstone 1 vs AGM-65 + GBU-39 combo is unbalanced
and AGM-65 + GBU-39 vs KH-38MT is unbalanced.
Everyone needs KH-38MT level weapons
