Skill Bonus Mechanic

As I said before, Kills are the most important aspect of the game, nothing really can change it.

Give me a mode where You don’t need to kill the enemy in order to win a game.

Arcade Air. Many maps air kills don’t even bleed tickets.

So if You leave enemy team be there is no chance that they will be faster in winning?

I like this new mechanic, but I think we need more RP rewards for Zone capping for assists and more. On ground is a Heavy grind, and doing things for the team (capping a zone, giving assits, or even destroying tanks) gives you a little reward.

So I think this is a good mechanic but need an improvement

This doesn’t change that we need better base rewards, we shouldn’t have to rely on a win bonus and now a skill bonus on top of needing matches to last at least 10 minutes in order to make our time worthwhile.

I only disagree that kills are the most important part.
Bleeding tickets is the most important part.

It is easy in that mode to sit on your spawn side of map and get tons of kills.

But it does nothing for the win, probably helps the loss as the ground pounder you just killed respawns and arrives before it would have reloaded.

The point stands, if You killed enemy attackers before they could destroy targets, You would have much higher chance of winning than when You left them to be.

This is moving the goalpost. I never said ‘i can win every game without killing anything’.
I simply do not agree that killing other players is the most important think in a Arcade Air game.

Yes, this may be true.
But it has nothing to do with getting kills. A player would still get the kill credit even if payload was dropped. So the kill aspect is not the most important part of even your example.

No, it would not benefit only light tanks. You are correct that light tanks would have advantage, but every tank can and heck, even planes could benefit from this.
An assist is an assist, it doesn’t matter if it from scouting or from a critical hit like detrack.

But if he eliminated player from the game, he wouldn’t be able to drop anymore payload. More kills = better.

Kill steals are a problem in Air RB.

Either by greedy teammates or by cheesy game mechanics.

I saw last match (7-8 minutes) a B-26 falling like a leaf as a result of losing both horizontal stabilizers due to a 109 attack - the 109 pilot broke off (with 400 points) and whilst going down the B-26 came in range of the airfield aaa. And got killed by af aaa - the 109 did not even received an assist and kept his 400 points.

These kill steals by af aaa happen quite often - same like that a “helpful” teammate swoops in from orbit and kills a flat spinning enemy a few meters above ground.

Edit: I got your point regarding low SL/RP income in Ground modes, i am sorry for that, but it is obvious that gaijin wants to motivate rather inexperienced tankers to play the role easy prey for experienced pilots in Air RB. Best example: Ju 288 black hole in Air RB. Have a good one!

In arcade air players have nearly unlimited spawns.

Nearly is a key, and by destroying all their air units with payload, they won’t be able to drop it. More kills = better for team.

Award “Not being a burden” should be implemented unironically.

It might be tough pill to swallow but that’s true.
If your team can’t overrun enemies by killing them, you won’t win a single match ever, so it’s safe to say kills are one of the most important metrics in the game.

True as well, there’s nothing easier than to secure an open cap without a single worry on your mind.

I have never run out of spawns in air arcade. I only have 8 crew (so 16 spawns) many have more, many have less.

16 player @ 16 spawn
So if a player can get 256 kill in the ~10 minutes of play, before anyone drops their payload, it would be the most important thing.

As that is impossible the thing you are trying to stop them doing becomes the most important thing, as bleeding tickets for a win is possible.

Of course because You are one against 16? And of course everyone has 16 machines in their slots?

We can have fun with the numbers but we should also be realistic.

Another important thing is to kill anyone before they are able to destroy Your team planes with payload. Again, killing.

Just tell me, which is harder, dropping a payload on bots or attacking enemy planes?

I will be honest. This is a buff ground players needed to get close to air. Air got it as well so be happy about that.

Air still receives around 200% the RP per kill and play time as ground with lower RP costs and crew XP requirements.

So my statement is also only about ground RB.

Brave_Idiot answered you that. I often won arcade games by staying away from the enemy. If you are in a bomber, you can win an arcade game best, if both sides just kill each other and don’t play the objective. ;-)

Because Your team was giving You that chance by fighting the enemy.
