Singapore im fine with it’s vehicles in game but thailand is basically the furthest possible that can be given to japan due to ww2(and likely it will just give japan more copy paste chinese and american vehicles)
Singapore can be put either in china or israel in my opnion
But thailand is basically the only sub tree we can put in japan that is societally acceptable

You might need to go re-read the suggestion, it is indeed a suggestion post for adding Singapore as a subtree to Israel, not Japan (like the rumors about it being added to Japan are suggesting).

As a Singaporean Israel is imo the best tree for a singapore sub but tbh i won’t mind japan i guess the type 10 with leopards would be cool but NO CHINA. Plus there already some sources say singapore (and other asean nations) is gonna end up in japan so yeah :/

Thailand actually has a lot of unique modifications, some nice domestic developments and Ukrainian vehicles would also be nice to see in game. It is very easy for Gaijin to avoid unnecessary copy paste, despite what people like to say.
Israel does seem like the most logical choice, but China doesn’t quite make sense to me. Singapore is a very a very western aligned nation that was even cleared for the F-35, so it seems weird to put them with PRC, Japan is at least also aligned with the west.
While Singapore does have good relations with ROC, but the same goes for Thailand, which is likely going to a Japanese tree, so overall Japan seems far more logical than China. Individually Israel still seems like a better choice, but as part of an SEA subtree as rumors say Japan does come as a close second and would be a good choice if Gaijin has an alternate option for Israel planned

On a more serious note neither of us should really be arguing about what is “socially acceptable” for a country we don’t live in. We better stick to the facts relevant to the game and leave it up to Singaporeans to say what’s acceptable or not

Singapore is more of a rather neutral nation
and i genuinely don’t see the point in putting it in japan
It’s also ethically chinese and indian, so seems more logical in either china or a possible future indian tree tbh
either way i would like to see singaporean vehicles in game for any TT, israel or china is just most logical in my opnion, im fine if you disagree as long as singapore gets added

not sure singapore which was massacred by the japs would like to get added
at least thailand helped japan in ww2
you can argue about the Leopard 2 PL being in germany but it is a Leo 2 after all

united korea orginally i felt could be put as a sub tree but i am a supported of korean reunification and seeing west and east germany, PRC and ROC are all in the same TT i feel like both koreas deserve to be together.

I feel like these are weak arguments since they undermine the Singaporean nationality. That would be like saying USA should be in the British or German trees for the majority English or German heritage, which is of course a silly argument seeing as they are American.

Point is gaijin has no method in picking TTs
So far my top choices are
- Israel(mil equipment coming from israel)
- China(chinese is widespread in singapore, china is also close to singapore compared to other countries)
- UK(former UK colony)
As we have seen with hungary(a huge russia supporter) being in italy(huge nato supporter) political alignment has nothing to do with where TTs are
