Singapore Ground Forces Sub-tree

Copypasta made by another Singaporean @AquaUselessGod about why china shouldn’t get a singapore sub tech tree

>Pledge in English and National Anthem in Malay
>Military vehicles purchased from all over the world except China (Army)(Air Force)(Navy)

I feel like these are weak arguments since they undermine the Singaporean nationality. That would be like saying USA should be in the British or German trees for the majority English or German heritage, which is of course a silly argument seeing as they are American.

Point is gaijin has no method in picking TTs
So far my top choices are

  1. Israel(mil equipment coming from israel)
  2. China(chinese is widespread in singapore, china is also close to singapore compared to other countries)
  3. UK(former UK colony)
As we have seen with hungary(a huge russia supporter) being in italy(huge nato supporter) political alignment has nothing to do with where TTs are

Just your top choices are wrong and we already know its going to japan

proves my point the sub trees are totally random

Option 1 and 3 makes sense in the grand scheme of things, option 2 is still a brain dead argument despite me already saying that Singaporeans do not see ourselves by race majority or what not, like I said we do not associate ourselves with China/majority Chinese, that’s like calling Americans British because they were conquered by the British 100++ years ago.

ur talking about ww2, something that happened quite some time ago, right now the relations are seen in modern time not in WW2 relations

And of course the helicopter tree, with late Tzefa carrying LAHAT (way better than TOWs), apache with spikes, and some cargo helis with Nimrod atgms.

Man that would go so hard. ~800mm pen tandem warhead go brrr

More than the pen, I like more the 8-13km range

believe me when i say, there is sides that will make that happen

I will genuinely go rabid if China gets ANY subtree before a 5th line of domestic vehicles. I swear to God.

Clearly Singapore needs a western aligned Singapore subtree before Bangladesh or Pakistan.

I can only see this going well.

I can only repeat myself from the ASEAN thread;
Singaporean’s have already made it clear that they would not want such a thing under any circumstances. Besides, Singapore has almost exclusively western equipment, it makes no sense as there are other nations (close to China) that are much better suited (Pakistan, Bangladesh, North Korea…).
Even Israel makes more sense for Singapore.

However, as said before keep Politics and personal insults out of this Forum.

Let’s just hope for the slight chance there is that plans change.

I fully understand some ASEAN nations for China, Myanmar or Laos would come to mind, but Singapore? Singapore is a nation that has almost exclusively western vehicles with the only exception of Igla that is locally produced and mounted on a modified M113, they were cleared for the F-35 (being the only ASEAN country to achieve that), they are the furthest of a Chinese subtree I can imagine.

Please Gaijin rethink your plans if this is true. You have avoided bad decisions in the past, now do it again.
