So you have to understand that pricing in games like this is tiered not because of the value of the items being sold, but because each tier targets a different section of their playerbase based on how much disposable income that section of the player base has.
Premium account time and things like starter bundles and 50% off sales are for the lowest income players who will only spend money on the game if they can get a lot of perceived value for their money.
GE skins, GE vehicles, GE decals/decos are for players who will also be willing to spend some extra money to make their vehicles look different and it’s easy to get them to impulsively buy small things to make them feel good.
Premium packs are for players who want to put the convenience of quick progression ahead of their money. They have plenty of disposable income and will buy anything that suits their fancy and keeps them playing the game.
Gaijincoin trading is for giga-whales and creates an open-ended marketplace where Gaijin doesn’t have to guess how much you’re willing to pay for something because the market will suck the whales dry well beyond what anyone would call a reasonable purchase.
If the pricing of something doesn’t make sense, it’s not for you.

sigh, some people cannot be reasoned with.
instead of arguing about the keyword i mentioned, he completely dodges it and insists on ad hominem like a complete buffoon.
i know the playerbase is tired because
- i have heard their complaints
- i am part of the playerbase and not a blind snail worshipper
coping is not my thing.
so my message for you is basically…
WOMP WOMP come back when you have more battles than i do

I don 't mind spending some money, but you can’t just charge more than double the price without justification for it… if it was a really highly detailed skin or something special that explained the price increase that’s one thing, but it doesn’t.
The justification is that they don’t want to sell 250 GE skins to impulsive buyers, they want to sell 500 GE skins. If that means 25% less sales but 100% more revenue per sale, it’s worth it. If you think another 250 GE is a deal breaker, then you were already on the edge of not buying the products anyway. Now the people who will spend 500 GE will replace your sale and that content remains in forever locked on your account until someday you might break down and buy it, thus further justifying their price increase.
This is why Blizzard thinks they can sell a $70 mount in Diablo 4: It’s expensive because it’s not for you, it for the whales to have and for you to not have.

100-200k concurrent players topping, the game is doing great, way better than a while ago. Or is your logic that every game will eventually die therefore any monetary action is “milking cow before it dies” thing… in that case completely pointless statement with no value

bro dont tell me you havent noticed the blatant sales grabs theyve made in the past few patches. come on man

It was 200 GE and these are 500 GE for no obvious reason, if they think that somehow earn more money that way, which I doubt, sure they can do that. I don’t have to like it however.
Yet people still buy them.
