I guess he’s saying that the rewards got nerfed, but the score multiplier for events is still the same.
Last day of the Winter Event, finaly grinded and spaded the SA Grippen, so here a result.
Victory + Premium + Full match (end by ticket). No booster used, No talisman. = 57K RP reward.
Sorry but it’s not enough. Less worse than @BroomstickDF in term of reward, but still not enough. Working your 20 kills and be rewarding by “only 57k” is disapointed.
The game in Air RB (even in the current state) because how fast match end, seems to be more efficient and rewarding than a full match of sim.
I can remember i could easily hit x1.5 (50k/85k) on average, x2/x3 on excellent game like this one (~120k/175k), x4/x5 if booster was used ( ~200k/300k), before the “useful mechanic” and the big economy nerf were introduced.
It was rewarding because it was sim mode. So more difficult than Air RB.
Now: 2 hours of Air RB > better than 2 hours match of Air sim.
57K was with premium. Imagine the result without Premium? (Probably in the range of @BroomstickDF reward), it’s not a good reward when you do a good game like this one, or like what he did.
Sim is still a good and pretty chill mode, but this kind of reward don’t help.

“We could reduce rewards for tonnage a bit and maybe tie rocket rewards to their tonnage, ie not much; increase rewards for point targets, like tanks, so that player engagement can outperform botting.”
