SIM SPAA Needs a bit of work or balance

Do I need to explain more the state of 10.0+ ground sim? Like - I am the first to shout at people for not having SPAA in their line-up but same time I am starting to feel the resentment so many are sharing. If things are being changed in the name sake of “balance” then there should actually be balance.

Anti-air in ground simulator battles are balanced and yet very effective because people that play simulator battles know how to effectively play a team-based game.

I’m seeing here that the only problem is you not bringing anti-air to your matches and comparing two very different missiles, Roland 3 is far superior than 9M311-1M,

And the Kh-29T is a TV guided air-to-ground missile which means you just need to leave the line-of-sight, which means getting behind an obstacle or anything that can disrupt the lock.

I don’t get it, are you trying to say Sum SPAA are too weak or too powerful? Because either opinion is valid in some way.

Try again.

On average air can engage from 10 to 11km where most SPAA can only engage from 8km. Roland system is not bad if it is someone not paying attention and not in range but easy to just out-pull it.

There really needs to be a bit of a better SPAA solution that does not involve hopping in a fighter.

2 missiles noted are SPAA and the missile with the nice range to it comes from a M27 sitting at 12km range.

13 minutes to flex on me for what reason?

You said I don’t bring SPAA - a baseless claim.

Obviously is baseless you don’t specify if you’re saying SPAA is too weak or too strong in the original post.

And is also baseless because I didn’t know and I didn’t wanted to know all your line-up to prove a point, just saying “I do bring SPAA.” or something like that is more than enough.

I displayed two typical SPAA missiles & 1 current spammed AGM.

Also, you could ask if I bring SPAA instead of assuming and making a baseless claim.

Kinetically dodging missiles is very hard in Simulator mode. It’s easy to momentarily lose stability (especially in planes without SAS) or black out before you have a chance to correct it. On the other hand, pulling too lightly is obviously unsafe. Rolands may be dodgeable, but any other SPAA will certainly be much harder to counter.

Also, visibility is terrible in the cockpit. If you are trying to fly upwards, if you are zoomed in too far on a ground target - anything other than watching specifically for SPAA fire, you will easily and quickly meet your end to a SAM. IR SAMs, SPAAs using IRST, etc, are common, and many jets lack an effective RWR to respond to these threats. Almost none have MAWs. In summary, it’s a very scary type of battle.

Very much why people side climb and then optic down on a glide.

Too compressed by the brackets, so both exists.
Mw more planes are spawned early in a sim match, which can overload AAAs
