RB and Sim are both supposed to have, on paper, 1:1 correspondence to publicly available aircraft documentation’s predicted/described characteristics limited by system requirements and abstractions.
In RB, additionally, for Mouse aim through “Realistic” joystick controls there are some changes to make flying easier. I’ve read a content creator say that “Realistic” joystick control dampens propeller effects far more significantly than just autotrim would imply allowing for greater near-stall control for bf109s compared to sim controls.
Keeping SB and RB parallel beyond control simplifications should be prudent however.
One thing I do feel SB would benefit from would be standardizing phyisiological effects on crew.
It’s a bit absurd that I can camp ~6.0G without a G suit on a maxed crew without any hint of vignetting/risk of G-LOC. Sim should have more realistic stamina and G-LOC mechanics similar to IL-2:GB.
Another thing I do recall is apparently some modern aircraft flight dynamics are optimized for mouse aim inputs according to the same content creator based on Issues/bug reports discussions.
