Radio module could be used, it’s a dead weight on most vehicles. Regarding export vehicles being used as desguise to blend in between allied team is mostly caused because ground simulator battles is no simulator.
It does not work. It only functions IF both you AND the target is completly stationary and even then it only start 80% of the time despite you rangefinding.
I am playing germany for example and I see a hellcat. I won’t bother with this crap, I will just blast it. If it emds up being a friendly behind enemy lines he can blame gaijin for all I care.
Or rather, it only works when there’s a clear line of sight between you and the other vehicle. And it’s done so slowly that if you are noticed, you’re dead before the identification even finishes. The other problem I see with this is that you have to keep the crosshair on the target even if it’s moving. One fence or lamp pole on the way and the identification process is interrupted. Now given that this feature is bound to range finder, you’re also going to give your position away because it can trigger the enemy’s laser warning system.
I dream of a day when Gaijin pays attention to sim battles…
No, if you move the crosshair to follow the target it fails. Its not just uninterrupted line of sight, its also no movement from either of the vehicles
