I noticed a lack of enthusiasm among several players regarding the TU-95M and B-52H, with many calling them “hamsters.” In that context, I decided to test them for a period of 6 days and indeed noticed questionable performance. I observed that they are basically facing threats in their raids, making their survival more dependent on opportunity than strategy.
I also noticed that they only have significantly higher survivability when used at extreme altitudes because of the anti-aircraft guns they fall against. Which is somewhat questionable considering they only use unguided bombs.
The point is: what do you think about these two aircraft? Do you think they should have a reduction in their firepower or should they receive technologies that improve their survivability?

At most, they’ll go down to 8.0. Below that, they’ll fall under the same threats as a Tu-4. They need to stay at a level where the 1± will cause them to fall in at least 50% of cases against aircraft equipped with heat-seeking missiles. and with a limiter so the B-52H doesn’t fall into a 7.7
planes of a full BR lower than them already completely can’t intercept them and planes of equal BR struggle, and you want to put the bombers even lower? are you psychotic?

No, the reduction is 0.3 with a limiter that’s not 1.0 or 2.0. There’s absolutely no way to put them in a 7.7. They have to keep crashing into jets with heat-seeking missiles.

Slow props?
The highest BR prop is 6.7.
The Tu-95 is currently 8.3.
Even a reduction to 8.0 wouldn’t have it face props, it’d still be facing AIM-9B equipped jets consistently, as well as the afterburning F-89B in downtiers.
B-52 at 8.3 would always be able to fight AIM-9B equipped jets.
So in either situation, neither are facing props.
And the rocket assisted interceptor Me 262s are easily capable of intercepting both B-52 & Tu-95M.

the aircraft have no place in this game. there is no combination of weaponry, systems, or countermeasures that would make them balanced at any BR.
where they currently are, they can comfortably take their time and climb to their service ceiling where they have no problems staying airborne and watch as aircraft of lower, the same, and in some cases also higher BRs struggle to, or completely fail to intercept and shoot them down.
put them lower, they become unkillable because they’ll face aircraft that literally cannot fly high enough.
put them higher, they get railed even harder.
give them strong ECM and put them higher, they still eat shit to IR missiles and guns.
there isn’t a way to balance these aircraft, they should never have come to the game and they should be removed.
