The “+” indicates APG-68(V)9, but afaik can also indicate anything later than the 68(V)9

Either way it literally doesn’t matter what they call it. It’s a Block 50 upgraded to Block 70 standards.

What kind of question is that? The F-15CGE and the F15C and the F15E all can carry the D variant and do carry it!

That’s mostly for avionics.
PoBIT is the same airframe of ex. Block 50 and same engine.
Block 70 is new built , with i don’t know exactly the differences , i know that it has more hours life than a block 50 if you compare both as new planes. They say around 50% than previous Blocks .That means different way of building and materials. They say Block 70 is something like 300kg heavier than Block 50.
Now, engine is the tricky part…some proposals of Block 70 give F110 GE-132 engine , others use GE 129 or F100-PW-229EEP. I don’t know any Blk 70 actively using GE 132 so far.
And the other difference… PoBIT has no CFTs, Block 70 have CFTs.

Both of them are UPGRADED to Block 70/72 standards… and they are not really Block 70/72. They don’t have the enhanced/heavier airframe…
Greece for example upgrades Block 52s to Block 72s.
RoCAF has also some Block 20s upgraded to Blk 70/72 standards and also has new built Block 70s !
All of them called F-16V on the press… they are not airframe Block 70/72.

Similarly , Block 50+/52+ (Plus) upgrades have GE IPE or PW EEP engines (that 50s didn’t originally had) , better radar with 68V(9), JHMCS, better EW suits and CFTs over the original 50/52 along with the external differences .
Also, Greece uses another variant along with Blk 50+/52+ , the Blk 52M (or 52+ advanced) has Link 16, upgraded MMC , an extra CMFD , can carry RECCE pod , ASPIS II suite and HAVE GLASS II (or even III by some sites) paint (i think the last one has to do with the RCS of the plane) and underwent SLEP.

Meanwhile the US Blk 50s/52s had already implemented many of the 50+/52+ or 52M features…
They are very difficult to really tell about them , except if you go by upgrade package…CCIP was it (?) with the planes referred as F-16CMs and they are better (?) in some occasions than the 50+s/52Ms …ex. HAVE GLASS 5 and other things.

In general, the 16s across the world are similar but different nation by nation and the US 16s after Blk 50 are…their own thing taking parts from the export packages and ofc having their own things that may be better in what they need them to do.
Also US even has Block 30 chasis with SABR and in WT RB with WT pictures from tech (no ECM/EW suits etc) may be better than all of them easily… anyone who knows knows…

None have done this. It’s GE-129 or PW-229 just like on the Block 50/52

In fact they use the IPE and EEP versions . With a little bit more thrust.
GE 132 was used only in Block 60.

gaijin can add a block 30 with the ge 132 engine

gaijin has already set a precedent for planes getting upgraded engines that they dont have IRL

I cant wait for F15EX with -132, or maybe even F15CX with -132 for the ultimate air to air F15

In general the “historical accuracy” in just a saying nowdays.
They make things how they want them to be. Proven in wars vehicles perform like garbage and actual bad ones perform in godmode.
I don’t think anyone with basic knowledge in warmachines atm trusts GJ.
For example i’m very sceptic in seeing F-14D in game which is my favorite plane ever , because i don’t want them to disgrace it either way…For the moment i like that it isn’t in game.

every other mechanical radar was nerfed when it was added

and preformed as badly or worse

For the purposes of the game it’s just gonna be an F-14B with a better radar and AIM-9Ms, it’s gonna be 13.3 and face Su-30s that will break it into little pieces each game.

It most definitely is not as bad as everyone moaning about it implies.

But what would you expect when the Euro-cope is that it was just as good as AESA’s IRL(spoiler alert, no it’s not and never was)

Yeah, to be fair my experience with GJ 13 years says they will make it a premium, they will give them AIM-54C+ with 25G overload and faster (which should be as fast as 54C that should be faster than 54A …) and more accurate and they will put it 120As which it shouldn’t have …but in theory it could shoot via software update (for GJ is something like needing the newer drivers in GPU but the game still plays with the old ones it just may bug sometimes…) .
80 euros, sells like crazy , problems phixed!

I find it to be ironic that someone can be complaining about the former 2nd best plane in the game
