Should missile sound effects changing be viewed as cheating?

I wouldnt use this as an argument. Anyone with a pc can download and run cheats.

Doesnt mean that cheats are okay.

This sound mod seems like a gray area. Now that the “missile evasion” message is a thing, it could be argued that the sound mod doesnt give much extra since you are going to get text telling you bascially the same thing.

missile evasion message comes after the missile has been evaded and does not give you a benefit of detecting incoming missiles the way the sound pack does

True. I am just putting forward a possible argument.

I have not tried the sound mod but if it works like the current sound, you would really only hear the missile until it has either passed you or like 100m from you.

If it makes you hear it before that, than i would lean towards banning it.
