Its fast and stable and thats all it has going for it. Its got weak armor, bad low velocity with extremely long reload for a light tank. Gun doesn’t do any damage because heat and atgm. Overpressure is nice but doesn’t make up for everything. Easy food for autocannons at this br bracket.
Used to have a recon drone but that got removed. Really should go to 7.7 where it would be perfectly fine.
Object 906 is 8.0 and better in every way.

The ATGM does very little damage and is so slow coming out of the barrel that it hits the ground
? it does good damage, it just has other issues, its only good at point plank and at range due to its drop between 50-150ish metres, and the longer reload
but ultimately youre massively downplaying the fact that fast and stabilised are the two most powerful things that any tank can be around that BR range, especially when you do have enough pen to back that up

The Sheridan is actually one of my favorite tanks, I think it is perfectly balanced and fine as it is. Honestly it could go up to 8.3 and get its scout drone back and I’d be perfectly happy
Pen is good but its post pen that’s so bad. And it does not do “good damage” all the time and especially considering that it has 12s reload and you expose yourself every time you fire at range.
Close range its easier to aim but if you use this tank close range you are taking a big risk with getting caught mid reload. Which is why the fast speed and stability are less useful with such a slow reload
And not to mention if you don’t one shot close range you are dead because 12s reload
I can understand its your favorite and you have lots of battles in it but that doesn’t change the fact that is a very weak tank, you still only have a 0.7 k/d in it

M551 VN would make sense at 7.7 but it’s not in the game
The current m551 is fine at 8.0

Oh yeah I suck at ground XD I believe that’s one of my higher KDs in tanks. I’m more of an air main.

Could be 3.7 and still bad. Shillegah is too slow to be effective, he doesn’t have the greatest overpressure, and heat is like flipping a coin as well as low muzzle velocity. Armour is trash, manoeuvrability is also kinda mid. Only problem is that I doubt gaijin will want to put a fully stabilised tank at 7.7

Less pen but a whole lot more reliable in most cases. The HEAT and ATGM are alright albeit lacking in damage and velocity. The reload is what hampers it down half the time though.
