The issue IMHO isnt stabilisation that makes it an issue any lower than 8.0, the PT76 is 5.3 (far too low, i stomp tigers in the thing) but the missile which if youre patient is an absolute monster, you just cant frontline with it, which is all that 99% of players try to do with every single light tank

Yeah, but it’s painfully slow and you need to maintain line of sight so usually u can get shot before the missile connects. Pretty much unusable on long range maps since people just dodge, and on small maps the reload kills you

I’m gonna say yes, we have plenty of giant guns at lower BRs. It’s got paper thin armour and just nothing special at all.

ive used swingfires. Ive dealt with far worse than shileighleigh at a higher BR, and i cant move while firing. Id love to have the convenience of the sheridan vs this

So i decided to take out the sheridan, its completely bone stock mind you. (its all been uptiers good lord)
I dont see the issue, its got a rather decent derp gun but that reload is pretty poor. As i suspected its perfectly fine as a scout and second line defence vehicle.

EDIT: I have one complaint. USA mains absolutely suck… I miss my british main bretherin, and my Scimitar.
General light tank rules apply. Everything can one shot you, the OP tanks like Turm 3 and any SPAA wont give you a chance, but they all need to go up by a lot. however you can destroy everyone in one reasonably ok placed shot, or cripple them long enough to reload
Shileighleighs are actually pretty decent for a secondary/long range missileother than that rather trash drop at the start, just aim up a bit. The base shell is also rather easy to aim, the whole tanks pretty easy going ngl

I always felt they could add a “two-box” Sheridan at a lower BR. The “two-box” removed the missiles and added another two boxes of .50 cal ammo, so could be enough to justify 7.7.
Meanwhile the M551A1 TTS could be 8.3 rank V with the scout drone.

NGL, now that ive half spaded the sheridan (decided to play it because of this thread) losing the missile couldnt really warrant it going down, ive found that its only real use is to give a little more ease to long range and be an anti-maus shell as it will pen turret and overpressure the engine.
the HEAT is really easy to aim and stays true to aim for a long way while inflicting a hell of a lot of damage, often flat out overpressuring your victims and not even relying on the shape charge pen.
Personally i think the current sheridan is an 8.3 tank dragged down by brainless US mains

All I’ve been doing is playing the light tank as a light tank.
Haven’t played the 906 yet but I imagine it’s a PT76 but of that BR ranges capability, which would make it pretty powerful and probably could go up a fair bit if it wasn’t for people not understanding how to use a glass canon
