it’s 11.7 and still arguably under BR’d lol.
How is it comparable to the ariete for example or a CR2.

CR2 gets really good turret armour, much better hull-down survivability, spall liners, gen 2 thermals, and hull armour (in a downtier).
M1A1 is definitely better in flanks but CR2 is great for long-range or hull-down maps.
Ariete is pretty good atm (after the decompression, 5s reload buff, and access to DM53, and now the small armour buff), but I agree that M1A1 is generally better.
Though the Ariete’s armour is still abysmal enough to be reasonable at 11.3, where the IPM1 is.
Id still takw the m1a1 over it long range tbh, though standard Cr2 is 11.7 now adays.
The optics on the 2 are about the same are they not ? Been a decent while since i used ny CR2s tbh got about 700 games between tbem.all so it gets fuzzy.
Aye going fron my ariete to the abrams is just flat upgrade bar the slight loss of pen but m829A1 is still one of the better rounds in game lol.
Id it lost the Dm53 it never fired ans got its real ammo definitely

Gen 2 thermals are a lot more usable than gen 1.
At long-range, you better hope you don’t get shot in the M1A1 but you can depend on your armour with the Chally 2 fairly often from my experience.

Cr2 for me the armours never really worked man, managed to get my breach shot out at 2.2km twice in a row 😂 maybe just my usage of it, but i vastly prefer the m1a1 overall compared to CR2

Reckon it’s because i know the CR2 has some.armour i hang around longer than i should.
Ngl man with the 3 earlier CR2 models.im not great, the 12.7 ones are more my pace, find them.more easy to use
I think the 12.7 Challies are way too overtiered.
They should be 12.0 - 12.3 if the 11.7 Challies are at 11.7…

The standard M1 Is the only one I’ve got which isn’t decent as it was the first 10,3 I got back in the day and was running around slinging heat n crap at people without knowing the game.

better than you with a 1.6KD and a 60 percent win rate.
