Should EF2000s get AIM120C5?

its not

Then, proof it

Most likely you will find just cries. Anyway - captor is still better than APG-70 in terms of range, gimbal limits, has fully modelled NCTR, better scan areas. While trading off a bit of stability and speed.

Absolute cinema

And the fact that TWS struggles to pick up targets that Blue Vixen would easily be able to, and that it randomly sometimes decides to break lock. CAPTOR-M is the worst top tier radar.

Usa doesn’t suffer in any regard at all.

Ive got usa in top tier both air and ground.

Stop lying 😑😂

If we rework the game to facilitate these missiles yeah agreed

It’s not.

I mean if they just gave it even gripens radar it would need nothing like aim120C

I get most my kills from the 9Ms tbh

The radars pathetic on it even in comparison to the f15A, its TWS barely functions

Have a cheeky geez at this dole bludger.

Then what is ?. Pray tell?
Cause right now the su30 radars better.
Rafales is better
F15’s radars better…
Even the gripen radar is better

All ESA radars are better than all PD ones, when in reality, while the AESA radars should be better, the Su-30SMs PESA radar should roughly be an asymmetrical equivalent to the CAPTOR-M.

The cope is strong with this one holy.

It’s easily a top 3 fighter, only behind the Rafale (which is just by far the best 14.0 aircraft). The only uncertainty in the top 3 is if you put the F-15E or Su-30SM at third place.

For dogfight EF2000 I think is / was better than rafale, for overall kit and use of said kit the su30 amd F15 put EF2000 in 4th place, its all extremely close.

The issue is the EF2000 has to get within about 16km to even have a chance of responding, while the others can use TWS to throw off their dookie and move on.

I died far too many times in the phoon trying to use the TWS and by teh time I even get a partial enough lock to fire the person im firing at has already slung one or two ARH’s at me and cranked out.
its ridiculous.

please explain how the EF2000 is a better plane in the game than the SU30 when the stats and the general kit of the planes tell a completely different story

BTW stat shark is horrifically unreliable for the Flight performance data, as said so by teh devs themselves on the russian forums.

Close range it’s easily second place. flight performance wise it might be slightly ahead of the Rafale (unsure of that myself), but the Rafale’s micas are just so good at this type of combat.

Long range I would also place the EFT either second or third best. The F-15E is clearly the best long range bvr plane, but the EFT has the same missiles and the only plane that can get close to the F-15E in bvr flight performance, with the added bonus that it can go into a notch way easier and quicker than the F-15E. The F/A-18C and Rafale are ass at long range bvr so it’s within top 3 already. 2nd or 3rd place depends on if you value flight performance (EFT) or radar and missile count (Su-30SM) more.

Don’t get me wrong, this is not meant to be an argument from me that the EFT shouldn’t get C-5s. If the F-15E gets them I don’t mind the EFT also getting them personally. I just hate it when people act like it’s one of the worst 14.0 while it’s easily among the best.

All the Su-30SM has going for it are radar and missile count. Not saying that the Su-30SM is a bad aircraft.

they should buff the r77-1 to make it realistic, give 120c to ef2k and the f15e, increase the map sizes, and everything should be fine, but its too much work for gaijin.

It is, until the captor-e is added to the tranche 3/4 of the ef2k, the captor-m remains as the WORST radar at the 14.0 bracket.
