You can argue with balance, maps, and overall, mechanics. But arguing on basically a suggestion on how to escalate vehicles and the shape of the current game progression is just complaining for the sake of it.

This is good since its closer to historic accuracy. However can we please raise the br, since the eurofighter outperforms most other 14.0 flight model except the rafale, like I think we should put eurofighter at 14.3 with rafale after receiving this upgrade.
I don’t understand the point of adding it to the F-15E and F/A-18C, then.
You’re just reinforcing the current meta (and worsening it for lower planes) instead of shaking them up.
You’re adding the better (on paper; let’s see how it makes out to be in live) missile on the better platform, not changing the status quo at all. The pecking order remains the same; F/A-18C, F-15E, EFT/Rafale, now doubling down on its powercreep and distance from the mere mortals that are 13.7 and downwards.
If you aren’t trying to balance the scale between the 14.0s, what, pray tell, is the point of adding it? You’re just oppressing lower planes which are already not competitive against the powercreep that the holy trinity (F-15E, EFT, Rafale) is.

realistically we should stop ramming newer adn newer kit in, and fix what we have
Becuase people are demanding so much more modern kit, for every tree rather than fic what is htere.
I feel in the Typhoon’s case (at least if it actually get modeled right) is that Aim-120C5s would give us some HOBS ability that we are desperately missing at the moment. Rafales and SU-30s can fire MICA and R-77-1s at pretty major off-boresight angles but the Typhoon? Both Aim-9M and Aim-120B are best used with direct shots.
The extra range from the C5 is nice, but its the HOBS that i think is what is so important about the upgrade (though at the moment, it only has the range upgrade, which is a bit daft)

EF have way better flight performance then the f15s, it is a balance choice. However most people only complain about us main these days despite us suffers in air ground and naval rb currently.
The F-15C shouldn’t get them, as it would invalidate the F-15E for air and remove one of the best 13.7 fighters. An F-15C Late should be added some time in the future with AIM-9X bl 1s and AIM-120C-5/7s.

It would absolutely improve the Eurofighter.
However, so would it for… everything else.
The pecking order wouldn’t change.
However, 13.0-13.7 would get absolutely murdered as they were by the pre-nerf AIM-120A/B.
Adding them ONLY to the F/A-18C made sense because it propped them against the murderous bloody machines that are the Typhoon and Rafale on the current meta.
You may even stretch further and say the F-15E deserved it, being currently outclassed on its gimmick (BVR) by the other two members of trinity.
(And that is debatable; it completely preys on the poor souls that are 13.0 pilots.)
However, the Eurofighter (and the Rafale eventually receiving its MICA-EM buff) just makes it completely pointless, because the meta is even more firmly cemented and the lower planes now simply struggle even more to match them.
It changes precisely nothing.
For the top-dogs, anyway.

No to the F-15E which was dethrowned by the Eurofighter and has been but yes to the Eurofighter because why? Bias is showing. The EFT and company do not need it. No idea why it was given to them.

I mean as it stands the 120C-5 isnt even a better HOB missile. It’s missing the better AOA and retains the maneuvering delay of the 120A/B, which completely kills the whole purpose of the missile.

But I still don’t understand why one of the most dominant fighters, especially in Sim, needs it? Gaijin gimping US tech is nothing new. But the EFT is fine without. It makes no sense.
Because the CAPTOR-M is not only the worst top tier radar, but also worse than some early PD radars. The Typhoon is not dominant. It is not even close to dominant. Hell, it’s not even within the top three fighters.
