So as the topic mentions, let’s discuss about aim120c5, which is added to Eagle and Hornets in the next update. Evidences shows that undoubtedly EF2Ks can carry AIM120C5 msl, so I believed that it’s only a matter of Gaijin to add it. Do aim120c5 enhance ef2k’s performance? Yes. Will it bring unbalance to top tier aircrafts? I believed no because RAFALE exists. So what’s preventing Gaijin from adding 120c5 to Eurofighters?

Is definetly needed. The Typhoon’s closest BVR equivalent getting Aim-120C5s is insane if the Typhoon also doesnt. There was a tiny argument that the F-18C needed a buff (though either BOL or Aim-120C5s would have done it but both might be too much)
But F-15E? No. didnt need a buff, it should move to 14.3
If it was for balance, the Typhoons would have gotten them first with the Hornets due to the CAPTOR-M being worse than early PD radars in many ways in game.
If they fix CAPTOR it wouldnt need them.
That being said why the hell does F-15E does get C5? It was already fine as missile bus.
The addition of it to the F15E warrants it coming to the platforms that can carry it at toptier, and fixes for other ARHs.
Yes, but only if the F-15Es and other planes get them, and if every other missile (AAM-4, PL-12, R-77-1) are fixed to their IRL performance.
It is unfair for any other plane to get upgraded missiles unless it’s the hornet.
Maybe because F-15Es’ [Kill per spawn] and [Kill per match] are the lowest one of the 7 14.0BR jets, which aren’t Hornets?

Not tiny, there is a realistic argument that the Hornets should get it. It gets dunked on in WVR by the EFT and especially Rafale, and it gets absolutely dunked on in BVR by the F-15E, EFT and Su-30SM. (and no, miss me with that “bUt 10 AmRaAm” argument )
Also BOL and C-5 would hardly make it op, besides that there is only 1 Hornet that gets both.
I agree regarding the F-15E though. Stats wise I can see their argument, but I’m still not 100% sure if it’s the good idea.
That data clearly shows F-15E is being used mostly as ground strike aircraft (compare ground unit kills to any other plane shown).
Ground strike aircraft have, on average, worse A2A kill to death ratio than pure dedicated fighters.
This is just players using the aircraft in one of the least efficient ways possible.
Those players feed the Saint Spreadsheet with data, based on which Gaijin acts upon. Nothing more, nothing less.
Put Rafale in US tree, let it carry 5 tons of bombs and you will get the same results.
My point is that just because people focus on ground strikes with F-15E amd thus the plane as a whole has worse A2A K/D doesnt mean it needs C5.
Gaijin point of view:
-Strike Eggles are lagging behind, we don’t want to move them down to 13.7 as F-15C is already there, what can we do?
-we have this kinda-working AIM-120C5 we’ve added year ago, this might be buff Eggles need to bring their stats closer to other 14.0s

I dont think those ground kills come from GRB (mainly because if they did, Kh-38MTs carriers would reach similiar numbers), but from ARB as most F-15Es ive seen just spam GBU39s at AI targets.
Prolly because full GBU39s payload is heavy > already heavy plane becomes more unmanueverable > cant notch > loses BVR easily.
So gaijin added C5s to compensate, and in typical gaijin fashion, didnt think this decision through as now players tgat use F-15E for BVR only will have massive advantage.
Oh, then that might also explain why F-18C(Finnished) didn’t get AIM-120C-5!
