Shared Enemy Detection in Air Realistic Battles Got Removed

For some reason, enemy detection being shared among teammates got removed in Air Realistic after the Firebird update. I scrolled through the detailed change log and couldn’t find any reference. Is this a bug, or another untold change?

Just to be clear of the topic, in Air RB the enemy’s name tag & plane type would show up in 3rd person within a certain distance (around 5 km, depending on the crew skill and direction you’re looking). Previously this enemy display was shared between all your teammates, you see what they can see. Hence the reason why you can ‘detect’ enemies outside 20 km at the beginning of the match when plenty people are around. This is no longer the case after the update, and the name tag display is only in close proximity of yourself.

FYI this is not about whether such new ‘mechanic’ is good for the game. Major changes like this should be thoroughly discussed by the player base before implementation, like the APHE rework in ground battles. Since no reference could be found in the change log, the nature of this ‘change’ is highly questionable.

It’s been confirmed as a bug, and I agree that it should be discussed before implementation.
