SHAR FRS.1 seems overrated badly thanks to compression

Sea Harrier FRS.1 (both Early/Late-Squadron) seems overrated on the current meta

We all know that the AIM-9L is a decent missile.
but, on an Early Harrier Fuselage with worse flight performance thanks to dead-weight created by useless blue-fox radar… It is just painful shit.
(Blue fox radar might be very useful when you are a ‘simulated battle’ lover, but nah, not on realistic.)

J-7D with 4 deadly PL-5B harassing balance on 10.7
AMX which is completely better than SHAR FRS.1(Early) also stays 10.7 (Double CM, trustworthy M61 cannon, AIM-9L for them are even available on stock modification, useable on GRB too thanks to guided munition)

‘B…BUT! PL-5B IS REAR-ASPECT WHILE AIM-9L IS ALL-ASPECT! AND WHAT ABOUT Sea Harrier FRS.1 on 11.0? IT HAS 4! Shut up you silly limey freak’

MiG-21bis with 6 maximum R-60M(or 4 if you want to base bombing with 2 napalms) on same 11.0 BR wish to discuss about that.
R-60M is a lot worse than AIM-9L nonetheless, still, MiG-21bis flies lot lot much better than SHAR does.

Putting SHAR FRS.1(Early) as same BR as F-5C/J-7D…
and
Putting SHAR FRS.1 (Late) as same BR as F-4F/MiG-21bis…

both feel like utter nonsense to me.

If we can access better planes in a closer BR radius, then is there meaning in the existence of SHAR FRS.1 on that high BR?

Gaijin you absolute muppet, stop being such a wally and decompress the BR for fook’s sake. Decompressing isn’t rocket science! come on!

9Ls on faster platforms shouldn’t be below 10.7.

The J-7D is undertiered.

The mig is better, but that doesn’t mean that the harrier should go down.

Agreed, Gaijin needs to decompress by alot.

The Shar (and all harriers) have a really poorly done flight model, Harrier 1s arent capable of their 6g+ sustained turns and have a reduced AOA, their AOA should be close to how Harrier 2 is modelled but not quite so aggressive.

all harriers are missing upwards of 80% of their thrust above Mach 0.7, create a significantly too large heat signature because all four nozzles are modelled as hot air (only two were hot exhaust the other two were colds) harriers were actually so cold than 9Ls struggled to get locks from above.

they are also missing a considerable amount of their VTOL thrust.

I think they should be at their current Battle Rating, but only if they get modelled accuratley

I might be choosing the wrong title name :|
sorry mate.

I agree that only A-10A-equivalent flying brick can stay lower than 10.7.
All I want is decompressing and ‘indirect buff thanks to side-effect’. :'(

Direct buffing them down will just cause nothing but another compression. :/
