Shaming AAA Campers

You can kill whoever you want, just consider that you can be doing 10x more interesting things in the meantime.

Not interested in further discussion with you. Bye.

Please share the replay. I saw and reported a lot of players with scripts, but i never saw a guy with a AFK- af aaa script. Without a replay - it never happened.

I am not sure what was unclear with my examples - there is no strawman involved. Time is relative, and if you think your time is more valuable than others - nobody cares. Even if your claim/example (afk aaa script) can be proven with a replay - i doubt that - your additional claim (50% of my matches) is far away from being realistic, so i see no further need to discuss your claims.

My feedback was aimed at your general approach with your post. It doesn’t matter if you use clear names or gamertags.

The attitude of pointing with fingers on others solely to expose them is frankly spoken somehow comprehensible if you would have lost a very good match due to camping, but declaring this as a thread to expose players in general like:

Is actually disturbing like hell. What do you do irl if somebody is not behaving like you want him to act? This is a rhetorical question.

Fighter players love some handholding

He dont play tiers where AAA dont help so he dont ever see real airfield campers scoring 6+ kills by waiting and not fighting…then blames skill cause youve used your ammo fighting and your fuel flying while he hasnt done either … Your idea about shaming people like that is better than trying to shame the bot scripts hiding in AAA cover

You’re just gonna lie about me now?

I’ve played top tier matches where AA is thankfully useless, and I have never seen anyone actually loiter around airfields waiting for people to land or takeoff unless the enemy team has only 1 or 2 guys left.

And yes, i will blame someone’s skill if you expend all your ammo quickly into the match without actually having a impact. Try ammo conservation sometime. Maybe you’ll realize staying up for at least 10 mins into the match won’t lead you to having to land and possibly getting strafed.

What do you think I’m supposed to do in this situation?

I dont know fight like a man maybe? But good strafing easy kills easy victory I guess

So you want me to have them all land, rearm/repair, and then climb to my altitude so I can “fight like a man”?

I don’t think I can now since I didn’t press Save Replay at match end, but if there’s a way let me know.

Your examples had nothing to do with the prompt or discussion of the forum, and you used them to argue against me. That’s the definition of strawmanning.

Cop out. You and agree that pointless time-wasting is not good design and its not sportsmanlike.

If everyone leaves when noticing this behavior, it ain’t just me. I was the last to leave on my team in the particular game I’m referencing. Seriously, even if you watch YT videos you’ll find content creators talking about it. Especially in the Ju 288 range.

I’ll answer it anyway. If someone is behaving in a dispicable manner, sufficient to warrant internvetion, if I can I’ll confront them directly. Otherwise, I can denounce them to individuals that can do something.

It’s literally how society operates man. Next you’re gonna tell me I’m not allowed to denounce muggers to the police, cause it’s creepy.

Im sure the op has ran back to base when out gunned

If you want actual respect about brag post yes cause my 9 year old son can kill landing aircraft…its not hard to outlast and kill people who have landed +6 kill game earned by dogfighting is much respect killing 6+ guys on the airfield is just another monday…

Just use links (to the server replay site) one of my 2 links i provided, close the match and search for own replays. You will find all replays of you in the last 10-14 days; if the match was that important you remember the map quite easy, it is an additional search parameter. Just post the link, not the replay file.

So apparently, I’m not supposed to exploit the enemy team’s obvious screw-up just for “actual respect”. Lmao.

Imho you should not blame the player for taking the opportunity to kill 4 guys near or on a forward airfield without af aaa cover.

Landing on a forward airfield is a classic noob mistake - the af aaa cover there was removed some months ago. Landing there is suicide, so those 4 paid the price for being too lazy to fly 60 seconds more to do their stuff on the main airfield.

So imho it is poor decision making of those 4 guys to present themselves as free kills. I agree that those kills de-validate any kills on more fair terms, but wt is a shooter - with all consequences.

Yea poor choices sure would you brag about it as if your awesome??? No probably not so who cares like I said thats just another monday poor players usually die in the sky too

There ya go. Also thanks for letting me know about this system, actually very useful.

I have indeed! More than once.

But I’ve only ever done so to buy time so I could refuel, rearm, repair, and climb to a better altitude to not get immediately killed, and then rengage.

I never had the strategy of circling AAA forever to get people to leave the game.

Personally, I think the spawn AAA is too much, and should be removed or diminished, but that’s not what’s being discussed. I’m not against people using intended game mechanics to try to win, such as using the AAA to gain altitude safely. I’m against players exploiting broken systems, to waste everyone’s time, until its simply better to leave than to finish the match. If you don’t see an issue with infinite AAA circling as a viable strategy, then I hope you’re never in charge of designing games.

I never said there was not an issue, i just said you have done it

Since you just found out about the server replay system in this thread, it’s safe to say you never tried it before declaring it doesn’t work.

Yes, if you are ahead on points and you’re one bomber against three fighters, the only way you’re winning that game is to run out the clock and avoid dying. Maybe you should shame your teammates for not going high and cleaning up the bombers early so you didn’t face this problem. Me, I play to win.

Could you edit this and write a short note of what can be seen in there? (when, what to look for)
Thank you.

Thx for sharing the replay.

After watching the replay, and using your initial claim:

…it looks for me that your might have mixed this up with another match, as all of your claims (except one) are not confirmed by the replay.

  1. PBJ last enemy alive - correct.
  2. Infinitely circled airfield - wrong, it is about 3-4 minutes until u pancaked.
  3. Your team had clearly won - wrong u had ~1.500 tickets, the PBJ 5.000
  4. Caused your team to leave - wrong, your last 2 mates got killed by ai Il-2s

No offense, but this claim :

…can’t be proven by your replay. A bot script is ez to identify by flight pattern and lack of view changes (use view #2) - the PBJ was flown manually.

It boils down that the PBJ played the objective and killed 16 ground units which led to a massive ticket lead. He flew to his main af to rearm at around 12-14 minutes, you popped up a blind hunt after ~14 minutes and immediately accused him to be an airfield camper.

Being the last guy with a massive ticket disadvantage is not nice, but at least in theory you still had a chance to win, no need to pancake at around 17 minutes or complaining later in the forum about a player which worked for the massive ticked advantage he had.
