Apparently this is the last P-35A that may be piloted by Capt. Ramon Zosa of the Philippine Army Air Corps in the Philippines.

Interestingly tho, in some sources, records say that 51 P-35s were supposed to have been transferred over to the Philippine Army Air Corps before the Japanese attack - however clearly only 48 airframes ever reached the Philippines as stated in the historical section here. This is further complicated by the fact that while Capt. Ramon Zosa was a part and pioneer of the Philippine Army Air Corps, with his own detachment within the organization called โ€œZosaโ€™s Depot Detachmentโ€ - he was also actually assigned to the USAFFE 34th Pursuit Squadron so we can always see this clash in sources being confused to whether attribute his service to the USAFFE or to the nascent Philippine Army when the Philippines was still a commonwealth of the USA.

Also theres actually a conflicting account to what actually happened during Zosaโ€™s last mission (Aircraft No. 23), some sources state that he was shot down along with a P-40 escort during their bombing mission and was KIA but Filipino sources actually state that the mission was successful and they landed back into Del Monte Airfield then later hid the aircraft as stated correctly in the historical section. Capt. Ramon Zosa himself survived and actually became an executive aircraft pilot post-war, he is here in 1945 with famed Filipino pilot then-Capt. Villamor which was credited with 2 aerial victories (1 bomber, 1 fighter), now both Majors by this time.

In any case, I think the US did intend to equip the Philippine Army Air Corps with P-35s as the US Army Air Corps switch over to the newer P-40, there were even plans to equip some P-40s to the Philippine Army Air Corps. However the quick and utter destruction as well as the overall slowness of the US at the start of the war hampered these plans, I do hope however that once we do have some Filipino voice overs in this game that its voiceover can be applied to this P-35A variant as a nod to this little known fact.

Anyhow this suggestion is a +1 from me thats for sure!
