Could be a cool rank 1 plane, we haven’t had any in a while

Definitely, in fact, the P-35 is the best candidate to connect the research line between P-26 and P-400. After all, the P-35 was the first to arrive at USAAC units to replace P-26s before P-36s arrived a bit later.

Here’s an image for reference.

Yup! Though what BR would the P-35 and P-35A get? around 1.3?

The P-35 is closely analogous to P-36A, so yes, it certainly would be placed at 1.3.

Then, the P-35A would be placed at 2.3, since it’s just reskinned J9 Early with American armament.

third place for smallest bombs?

Still +1

Because it’s weird it is a plane that eventually evolved into the P-43 and then the P-47.

And it fills the void in-between P-26 and P-400

Yep, the P-43 and P-47 shared P-35’s DNA, so you can say it’s the grandfather of these fighters.

Makes sense

Spoiler

Ran out of likes lmao

Also influenced Italy a lot.

Reggiane really liked the wing design and landing gear

So P-35 isn’t a footnote in terms of aircraft history since it did pass on some features to such popular aircraft.

For sure.

I think it makes more sense to fit between the P-36’s since the P-35’s is one of the precursors to the P-47 series of Aircraft which in that line. It doesn’t mean that there isn’t any aircraft to be placed after the P-26’s

I would agree if it’s not for P-36 variants and Curtiss aircraft to share the line down along with the P-47s. Seeing P-35 and P-36A share the same BR in the same line would be strange.

Perhaps it would be better if the US tree tech benefits from comprehensive reshuffles.

i have suffered by playing the swedish version

The Swedish version you referred to was J9, which is at 2.3.

This version is totally different and will be placed at 1.3. It will do fine, like the P-36A.

I have no issue flying J9 Early. I am doing well and have fun in it.
