Severe Imbalance in Top Tier Ground RB

because they already have a round in the breach

so do the russian tanks as well

and it is still one of the best if not the best tank ingame

F-14 being undcontested for a few updates, clearly it is a russian vehicle
F-15E being uncontested for one Update, clearly it is a russian vehicle
Rafale being the best plane in the game rn, clearly it is a russian vehicle

2S38 needs higher BR, that’s right, but it does not mean too OP at toptier. Other nations need heavy fire IFVs instead.

The CAS issue has been solved by adding enough helis with F&F missiles and better fighters. The KA52/50 is not OP now, spikes can do it faster, and no need to worry the SPAA. The only issue is based on the Pantsir, not the CAS itself. Rafale/Typhoon are much better than SU34/30, The only issue is that all of the nations except Russia don’t have similar products like 2S38, so they can respwan the CAS speed faster. You can find the in SB model, the NATO has already controls the sky if they have enough pilots

maybe show it with 3BM60 you know the TOP round instead of the Stock Dart

mb didnt click through all the rounds but it dosent change to much
they still need to aim for the lower front plate or the breach

“2S38 isn’t a top BR vehicle. Bringing it in your 12.0 lineup is harming your team’s chances of winning.” yeah you keep saying that while I scout the entire enemy team with a drone 3KM away from the battlefield whilst being able to stop any other drones that spawn in much more effectively than similar light tanks used at top tier.

Also makes the Su30 and Su34 cost practically no SP and you can still easily kill things like Abrams, Chally’s and Type 90’s in a head on

But I’m sure this somehow isn’t bias to you

Can’t you do the same with an HSTV-L and Spawn an F-15E and F-15C/F-16C?

“Ka-50/52 are just as bad as Apache due to not being F&F, any SPAA deals with them.”

Despite the fact that they are objectively better having:

  • Faster, longer ranged missiles with proxy
  • More total missiles both air and ground
  • A better Radar
  • Better guns
  • Able to tank hits much more effectively

Its still not as good as helis with F&F but it is certainly better than an Apache

Difference is an HSTV-L has much less proxy and the lead indicator is straight up bugged and you have to lead it more so you either need to invest half your ammo in proxy and avoid fighting too many people or just ignore enemy drones all together unlike the 2S38, RDFLT or LVK9040 C which have much more ammo that you can invest into proxy

Apache has radar and can bring 16 hellfires though. The gun is basically because the 30mm chaingun on the apache is almost like a grenade launcher while the russians use the same gun on the BTR-80A and BMP-2/2M/3

But that’s more of a design issue. Russians fitted an entire modular naval gun system on a BMP-3 chassis, no surprise it got a better autoloader

Hellfires cant be shot through smoke and take much longer to actually get there, the gun is also does much less damage than the KA52 and I’ve literally tanked shots from Apaches on something like the Rafale and shook it off just fine.

Also have you ever used the radar on the apache? It is basically just for show and does not detect a single thing along with the Z-19, MI-28 and similar radars

That’s the disadvantage of SAL vs LOSBR though.

hellfires also have pretty much no velocity in terminal phase when fired from 6km+ so they cant correct for any changes in target position

its not the fact its “a better autoloader” its the fact that it carries over 100 rounds more whilst being able to sit in spawn and not even go near a cap when you need to restock on shells. The 2S38 is much more effective in top tier than the HSTV-L because of this.

Which is just another reason why the KA52 is better? Which was my point? I dont see what youre trying to get at here

which is another reason they feel so much slower is because they dont fly in a straight line to the target, so the 200ish m/s difference feels like much more

Hence a better autoloader. You also have to factor in that a 57mm round is significantly smaller than a 76mm one

Now I have no idea how big the 76mm on the HSTV-L is but for reference the 57mm on the 2S38 is based on the S-60 so that uses a 57x347mm round while a comparable system like the Otomatic uses a 76x636mm round

Quite a big difference in ammo size

Ahh all you said you just took it and cooked fully agree with your points ^

Again the problem with the Pantsir isn’t just the range/speed/amount of missiles that it has on every single other top tier SPAA but also the fact it can better track and intercept munitions compared to other SPAA.

The KH38’s are also just much faster than any other AGM on fixed winged aircraft which is another issue

I mean SAL is much more useful irl hence why Hellfire uses that guidance method. Ofc this doesn’t translate well ingame until Gaijin figures out buddy lasing
