Have you tried with the temporary fix we’ve given above?
Got in by using this from the game directory on the linux client - it will let you manually log in, dont use the exe version it will try and open in wine and cause you problems with anti cheat

Using the method above does allow the game to update, but I still can’t login. It asks for my login details (which I don’t have because it’s through steam) and if I relaunch without the launcher I get the error again.

You can still log through Steam (when it asks for the login details) by putting the credentials or scanning the QR code with Steam’s app.

Thanks, clicking on weblogin allows for me to login through Steam.
