the Machbet doesn’t have a radar of any kind, it uses an optical tracker to track aircraft which gives it the hilarious benefit of being able to track drones, but in the Machbet, it’s on you to search for targets

Unfortunately, players who use SPAA’s, are not told at all what leading your shots are. Since SPAA is one of the only vehicles on the ground where leading your shots is required.

So I’ve noticed.
I wouldn’t say that as the same goes for all other vehicle types. It’s just that SPAA have to utilize shot leading the most.

(Reviving this after the dev stream) Can Gaijin please stop adding Russian SPAA?
Seriously, it’s getting insane at this point. Instead of adding B1 Draco, Grifo, Polyphem, moving the OTOMATIC down to 10.7 where it can be an SPAA in some regard, etc., they decided to add a Russian export SPAA as a copy-paste to Italy.
Italy is still lacking a real top tier SPAA, and all nations outside of Russia do not have a Pantsir-equivalent in game (although there are options for literally every nation).
I have a feeling they over assume how many people play both ground and air in ground battles compared to ground only players. So they simply thought the best counter for CAS was a fighter.
If only they thought that way about Russia…
