Why don’t you try to do CAP against Russia everyday like i did and come back to tell me otherwise I wanna see if it changes your opinion
I hunted CAS before them lot of times but never before need so much effort as Russia recently.
Actualy it does pose a threat but I remember your posts from few years back and you are still a denier that anything russian is op…
TWS mode and you throw a missile at the jet gg’s if he is high and in 10 km range easy kill unless he turns cold and dives to the ground…

The Pantsir and their tanks aren’t really issues these days. The problem is that damn Su-34 Hell Duck/Full Back.
No im just genuinely confused as to how someone can be so misinformed and yet speak like they know the absolute truth
CAS has always been the big issue affecting balance at toptier and i dont see it being fixed for a while
Your stats show that you’ve actually improved quite a bit in your winrate for M1A2SEP, heck you’re even on track for 50% winrate at this point, yet your constant need to make topics about how OP Russia is at top-tier continues. Do you really think everything is just sunshine and rainbows for USSR/China constantly facing hoards of Leopard 2s at top-tier?

Sure, but the Su-34 is particularly horrible. The Su-25SM3 was already insane for the Kh-38 being on it. Now we have the Su-34, which shares its BR in ground battles with the same missiles (I think it has more as well) while getting Fox-3 missiles. It’s just too much.
Honestly, we just really need the SLAAMRAM and SPYDER tbh. Better SPAA would solve this issue easily.
I called this from the start, I knew exactly what sort of topic this was going to be and that nothing intelligent or good would come from it.
It’s just that now, in combination with the Pantsir and Su-34, the advantage has become significantly towards the Soviet side.
The SM3 was still worse than NATO CAS since it was subsonic and could be downed pretty easily but yeah the Su-34 is broken

The Soviets have had a slight advantage for awhile, it’s just that it isn’t on the ground. To be completely honest, the only real issues I’ve noticed with the Russians is the Kh-38 missile platforms. The Ka-52, while dangerous, isn’t nearly what it used to be and Spike helicopters like the Israeli Battlehawk are significantly greater threats.
If we simply had better SPAA (better than even the Pantsir), the CAS problem would become less of an issue. Alas, we’re stuck with missiles, aside from the Pantsir, that can’t effectively target further than 8-11 kilometers. Even the Pantsir, often called OP when it isn’t, is outclassed by modern CAS. The only thing keeping it from suffering is that it’s Russian.
The missiles carry it. For my Israeli lineup, there’s nothing I have which can counter it. My best Anti-Air is a Chapparal.
