Serious Balance Issues with Russian Vehicles in War Thunder

AGM-65, Hammer, KH-38, and PGM /3 all use the same IR seekers in-game currently.
Now whether they should is likely they shouldn’t, but they do.

But I want the 279 at 9.3 for selfish reasons, so I can unite the 279/BMP3/BMD4 gang with the addition of T-72A, Object775, and co. I don’t mind playing 279 in uptiers, but I don’t want to purposely uptier it for the sake of other vehicles. So if Gaijin does it for me, I’ll get some more play time in the 9.3 vehicles.

Mav don’t have IOG

Maveriks have 10km range hammers have 20 km but very slow with a big trail and ez to intercept and so the pgms
And why u saying kh38?
This missile is on pantsir side its part of the problem
Exept france and britian with their very slow missiles there is no equivlant to the kh38

Interception is only really plausible when targeting the SPAA itself, if you target tanks as you should, the difference in angle causes issues.

And AGM speed doesn’t mean much other than avoiding someone getting a frag on the targeted vehicle faster than you.

And also if u can lock u dont have the energy to lumch it from 20 km unless u are very high and then pantsir will destroy it on the way and u right after

I just tested AGM-65G and KH-38MT. AGM-65G locked a moving tank from 11km, KH-38MT the same tank from 10km. There may be an error due to the height of several hundred meters or similar. So telling that some agm locking a tank from 20km and exceeding every spaa range is wrong.

Open your account and see 11.0-12.0 GRB BR… Also when we say uptier we don’t mean unable to do anything other than staying 20km away bruh

There is NO gen 2 jet at that BRs as those are the F-86, MiG-15 and korean war jets.
If you take those out to the highest BRs you are in no way to complaint about unbalanced gameplay.

And the Pantsir is no kind of deathray automaticly killing everything that spawns within 20 km

Some CAP some CAS, some suffer more some less, some spray good ordinance some can do nothing

No one takes agm65g when u can take 3 agms65d and kh can lock from 15 km at min
Its also map depended or maybe its a diffrent missile i dont remember

In air RB eurofighter definitely stronger due to AMRAAM make it able to play around range
But Ground RB i put Rafael as most dangerous planes for air and for good reasons
AirRB both side still have distances to play around
but GRB air spawn point are shorter it mean you’re almost at range of MICA right after spawn
I fly Mirage 2000 5F before and let be honest i never do good in AirRB
Ground RB on the the other hand it completely different story MICA are very beast here weakpoint of MICA in airRB not exist here due to shorter range make it one hell of a CAP
And Rafael are better than Mirage 2000 5F in everyway with this missile and it AESA radar.

The kh38mt has 12+km range thats for sure so it outrange every spaa and dont forget its hella fast
