Seal clubber spawn campers should be punished

I wanted to go into the next match as fast as possible for my daily.
That’s also the only time I ever had the opportunity to spawn camp 38th, it’s almost impossible to spawn camp on that map.

38th is one of the spawn camping map just need to block key points and enemy no chance. Upgraded version have less attack way than before. The key is capture and hold island than go one of the ‘green marked location’: enemy no chance to detect you and able to finish the enemy lemming train with ambush or shoot fresh spawned enemy.

To go fast as possible to next battle when only low enemy number had and battle end already decided i usually give up my tank not wait when enemy spawned next to me and he/she spot my armor and try to kill me. This also a waiting time. Thats a fastest way to enter next battle.

Only 3 of those in the north are actually spawn camping, the rest are not.
And only 2 positions in the south you circled are spawn camping, the other two aren’t.

The exclusive time I’ve seen spawn camping this year on 38th is when I did it just now.

Lot of time i suffered and spawn camped on 38th, thanks to his concept. F4 road is a key point kill 1-2 enemy and use a wreck as a cover and you able to spawn camp. Or use the catwalks on hill(D4) to snipe lemmings who attack from road(D6 road, F3 road,B3-B4 road…etc). Not to talk, easy to detect spawn defenders who camp next to spawn in paralells hills and kill them all.

B3 Road case same. They nothing can do.
B6-C6 road same.

Small village in B4-A4 is the best place where R.A.T.s able to hide. Lot of road and building exist with hight stone fence. if you rush into enemy spawn and kill 2-3 enemy you able to fall back and hide next to one builing.

G4 village same but in this case you need to watch your back also. Thanks to cover hills you able to fall back while reload and go forward when loaded. Kill and enemy and fall back. Not to talk destroyable cover objects(AA gun, truck ,tents) also a best hide objects…

F6-F7 roads able to cover from multiple ways and set up a perfect ambush. and kill lemmings who rush to C. in B6-C6 road case same.

A suggestion to put an end to or at least discourage campers. Make a list of the names of those you already know who like to camp at spawn. At the start of the match, just look to see if any of them are on the opposing team. If any of them are there, I already know what will happen, so I play with just three aircraft. If I die three times I’ll just be in spectator mode. This is because if you come in again, they will already be waiting. Just let the campers play alone. If every team does this we can put an end to this regrettable practice that many experts do to get easy kills. I suggest this because it seems that reporting this type of behavior has no effect or at least I have never seen any response from Gaijin.

Our maps are designed to let players choose spawn camp for it’s efficiency and safety.

They should get no rewards.

The problem is not really the campers but the players. Like you. Your plan is sheepish for a combat game and will do only one thing: Help them win! You play into their hands even before they do anything.

When being camped in air arcade, there is a simple strategy to still win the game. Spawn low, dive asap and kill ground afap. This will usually work out. But even if you tell this in chat “Campers high, dive, kill ground”, all the expert lemmings do is climb for the campers to be hand picked. And they do it again and again. Sorry, banning the campers here still keeps the problem.

Thank you for your opinion there is a common what you say but you just mention the players mentality but you not to talk about the system and the game fault which allow it.

In air battles, yes exist the lemmings whos try to intercept the enemy who stand on spawn point in hight…

Why not exists (AI) Guard squads which maintain and cover the friendly spawns.

Developers easily can solve it with spawn 2-3 AI squad with 3 plane/squad with equiped air targets or stealt ammo belt. They should be hard level AI. Role intercept every enemy plane who entered the spawn and when the spawn camper destoyed them they will respawn… In air battle sometimes it’s enought to some one disturbe spawn camper which force him to leave spawn area or lost altitude and than get shot down.

Because the air base is an objective on most maps, usually not far from the spawn for logical reasons. And planes need to reach that air base in order to attack it. Air base defense is a job that is with the team anyway, it is also spawn defense. So there goes that idea.

The air base already has an AA umbrella you can dive into. But that would be following my advice anyway. Campers will not follow you, unless they have a different agenda.

I simply see no need to hand held players with something they have to learn anyway eventually.

Spawn camping is a horrible thing to endure. But it’s encouraged by Gaijin via map and gamemode design.
Which is great and excellent (I AM NOT CRITICISING GAIJIN, GAIJIN IS ALWAYS RIGHT AND THE GAME IS THE BEST, LOVE WARTHUNDER, GAIJIN YAAAY!!!) this game monetizes player frustration, so spawn camping is something happening almost every match, just like absolute CAS mud-show. Of course when you get killed 10m out of spawn, it means you got outskilled. Same if you get bombed repeatedly. Outskilled, glhf.

Also same reason why SAV is a thing. Why Sherman III/IV is a thing. Why pay2win bushes are a thing. Why Pay2winnin’s Yak-3 is a thing. Why B7A2 Pay2winnare is a thing. Why Pay2winnak Isaev is a thing. To make the game worse for everyone but pay2winners - to make people pay to skip the horrific experience of suffering through BR hellholes.

BTW, fun fact - getting rammed by griefers oftentimes means the victim gets punished for teamkilling. So it’s clear Gaijin’s policy (which is excellent and I am not criticising it) is that if you get teamkilled via ramming, it’s your own fault. Just like getting bullied is bullying victim’s fault - the victim was clearly asking for it. That’s excellent. Reasonable. Simply the best. That’s not sarcasm. I love Gaijin.
Same reason why volumetric was introduced along with ridiculously unrealistic penetration mechanics (simplified so the shell get stopped by things that have absolutely no right to do so) - it does frustrate the player.
Thing is - if it makes you frustrated (which, again, is great thing, go Gaijin!), it’ll stay as long as it doesn’t make people outright quit/stop paying. If money flows - the frustration factors will only go up.

For me Air RB was quite fun for some time. But after all 20mm got turned into mini-nukes and Gaijin messed up ballistics (Ho-5 with 80g shell beats German 117g shell in every metric) and introduced a few new pay2win planes (some techtree planes also became awfully OP) I just no longer can enjoy the mode. The solution? Pay and get flavor of the month OP premium of course. And that’s super cool.

If I punish the players they will either find a loophole around the punishment or just quit. Neither of which solves the problem. If u are killed in ur spawn not paying the repair is a good idea, but easily abusable. Maybe killing spawn campers gives double rewards.

TL;DR: use positive reinforcement not negative reinforcement

Have seen this backfire A LOT - on maps where the Caps are all the same distance from each sides TWO spawn-points.

12 tanks take a Cap then push toward enemy spawn. Meanwhile enemy team has taken 2 caps . Those brain-dead 12 tanks refuse to help take the other caps while tickets drain, and they get killed by new enemy spawns because of spawn protection. OR … enemy spawns at the second base and they rush to protect the Caps they already own.

I hate playing on dumbasss teams.
