Sea hawks at 8.3 make no sense and should be moved back down to 8.0

The sea hawk is a very slow aircraft that was actually quite balanced at 8.0, at 8.3 it makes absolute 0 sense, it has no reason being the dame br as the mig15bis and at a higher br than the mig15bis ish.

The tt non missile one should be 7.7, the missile ones should be 8.0

The sea hawk should not be able to face f104s or f106s

What if we take everything above 8.3 and move it 1.0 BR up instead?

Gaijin refuses to do so for some reason

Maybe it moved cause it has good statistics due to it being the lowest rating missile carrier plane in the game and probably runs into players who have never seen an aim9 before and don’t expect it.

It’s really funny that it’s higher than the f86a5 though, like they should probably be the same rating if not the sea hawk being lower. If I remember right the sea hawk is pretty similar to meteor mk8 but a little worse turn in return for speed, and mk8 does not do well vs f86/mig15…

And the mig 15 and mig 15 bis ish (actual pay to win). The issue here is that balancing using player’s statistics can backfire when the players are terrible, and we end up with excellent vehicles at way too low of a BR. I always cringe when I see an A28 beat a Mig15 or a Sabre, like youre fighting the worst early jets and it’s still not easy enough?

I’m doing my part to keep MiG statistics down by only using them in GRB

The non-british Sea Hawks moved up because they have missiles while the British one doesn’t.

The British one itself is 8.0 coz Britain tax.

I started WT against all advice with GB.

Realised 90% of jets are over BR’d

Should of quit out of principle when i realised alot of these overated vics are in different nations, with same BR, sometimes even lower… but always better versions

The british tax is real.

We need more decompression, there shouldn’t be sabres and mig 15 at 8.0 fighting Me 262s. I would advise to simply pretend an overtiered vehicle doesn’t exist and just play the ones that are undertiered or more fair, and learn the lesson that all premiums are OP on release so that they can be sold to unsuspecting players just for them to be made unusable, happened to me with the premium Vatour.

People always cry about russian/NATO bias and swedish favouratism, but nobody cares about the real bias:

7.0-9.0 is a compressed mess.

Changing individual plane BR’s just creates problems somewhere else.

We need the entire BR system to be stretched out.

Me-262s shouldn’t fight Mig-15s and Sabre A5s.

The list goes on…

Is there anyone still remembers R2Y2, one of the best jokes for balance even though they were deleted

I do, and still at battle rating 8.0, very unfun, unhappiator machine in my opinion. At matches is like a one-way door, you can’t return alive.

mfw a plane with 262a1a performance is at a higher br than it for some dumbfuck reason nobody knows

I barely used them in ARB at 7.7, they were barely usable but struggled. they were decent in GRB due to the bomb, the turn rate, and the lack of needing to actually climb and gain energy to fight other jets.

At 8.0 they are hanger decorations for ARB, though you can still get some use out of them in GRB.

They should be 7.3.

As for the Sea Hawk, I dont think the very first jets in the game should be fighting AIM-9Bs to be honest. Id like that middle transition period with jet gunfighters before missiles became a thing to exist.

Gaijin finally activated the neuron, so they finally realised that every Sea Hawks shares the same BR, either domestic junk or exported junk with AIM-9B. (which was nonsense itself.)

The sad part is, Gaijin didn’t have enough neurons to reach the point that the original 8.0 was in a total mess, too.

MiG-15bis ISH and F-86A-5 remain 8.0… for years.
Only the US/USSR are allowed to get biased. great.

Wondering why this was so based and then i realised its foxtrot

It’s even worse for the Hawks since the BR change.

At your own BR you face Migs and Sabers - but that’s the best news.

Since the SU-7 went to 9.0, the match-maker is flooded with them. They are an easy zombie plane to bomb bases with (like the JU-288).

This means that playing the hawk will land you in a 8.0-9.0 match most of the time.

The only issue is that R2Y2 at 8.0 in GRB doesn’t have any ground vehicle, you have to move to 8.3, then against with tons of radar SPAA, and that’s why it takes so much time to ask Gaijin at least move R2Y2 to 7.7 in GRB, Japan around 7.0-7.7 except Kikka and F84g doesn’t t have any other choices, there is nothing could dogfight with other nations fighters

And 7.0 is mostly 7.0-8.0 it goes both ways

Was it too good at 8.0? to a degree Imho as alot of new players transitioning to jets are at this br. Is it average at 8.3? then good its balanced to its peers.

If the Mig15 and sabre brs were reverted before thier drop to 8.0 then 8.3 is where the sea hawk should sit with missles.

Still dont understand why they dropped thier brs
