Id like to suggest the Sd.Kfz.251/10 armed with a 4,2 cm Pak 41. It is quite similar to the Sd.Kfz.251/10 Ausf.D already in game, armed with the 3,7 cm Pak L/45 and was was build on a multitude of different chassis, including the Ausf. B, C and D.
However this 251/10 variant is special, as instead of mounting a 3,7 cm Pak L/45 it mounts the more powerfull squeeze bore 4,2/2,9 cm Pak 41 L/55, this is easily visible by the double plate gunshield, which the 3,7 cm Pak L/45 did not use. Otherwise the guns are visually mostly identical, except that it also had a reinforcement plate above the barrel, tho that isnt visible on the photos.
Visible by the air intake “ears” on the front in the photos, is an Ausf.C, however if the DEVs dont bother with modeling a C, they could easily copy the Ausf.D in game.
Generally gameplay wise, it will be similar to the normal /10 Ausf.D, however with FAR increased muzzle velocity at the cost of APHE, since it only uses APCR as well as a weaker HE round. It could be one of 3x /10 vehicles with different armarments, the 2,8 cm S.Pz.B.41 (which uses the same principal), the normal 3,7 cm Pak L/45 and this gun.
And it would offer a quite Unique gun, just like the 2,8 cm S.Pz.B.41 on the 221 and eaqually fun.
History of the Sd.Kfz.251:
The AHA IN6 (Inspectorate of Motorized Troops) requested a armored Half track to accompany tanks on the offensive and perform auxiliary mission in 1939. These tasks were (not limited to) Scouting, mobile HQ, command vehicle, radio vehicle, forward observer and ammo carrier. And be a bigger version to the then also in development Sd.Kfz.250, its smaller brother.
It was an development of the Sd.Kfz.11, which was made by Demag, who was allready recognized for their expertise in very small and fast half tracks, which was recently accepted into service. Of these Sd.Kfz.11 were around 12.000 produced until 1945 and additional 15.252 of the armored version Sd.Kfz.251. The armored body was designed and produced by Büssig-NAG abd called Mittlerer gepanzerter Mannschafts Transportwagen (medium armored troop transporter) with the number Sd.Kfz.251.
The /10 was a command and support vehicle armed with the 3,7 cm Pak L/45 and an AA Mg 34/42 at the back. Offering the infantry increased firepower, against all sorts of targets, using AP, HE and Supercaliber-HEAT-FS ammo.
