The way scouting works need to be changed. Realistic high tiers matches are turning into arcade. I can easily tell when i am scouted. i start getting shot and pushed by multiple enemies. Scouting need to be a fixed area (like A4 turning into red), not a updated location for over a minute.

Its infuriating me. Not only the maps are getting smaller, but also you cant flank or just ambush anymore…

It won’t show how many enemies are in one grid and it’s too much space to look for. Doing this will also make light vehicles less effective and exclude them from lineups. I don’t think it will be helpful to see grids A4 B5 B4 light up and be like ok now I got to look at three grids for idk how many enemies. If you hate scouting go play simulator. And scouting is a good counter to flanking. Arcade you can see nametags, realistic you can see where on map for a bit, simulator for full realism. Sounds fine to me. If you come up with a new solution I would be glad to hear it.

For airborne scouting, I agree. Normal regular scout tanks need a purpose and the marker is ok for LOS spotting. Drone spotting, on the other hand, is stupidly overpowered, especially given how utterly difficult it is to kill the drones. Those things are flying BMPT’s given how much damage they can withstand.

I think the simplest fix is to let the user know if they have been spotted. People won’t like this suggestion, but it would make counterplay far more possible.

I disagree that it would make light tanks less effective. They normally have other strong points like fast reloading and high penetration and mobility. I play them a lot and i rarely use drones.

In the other side, lighting up grids may not be the best solution. Maybe the same system and marks its right now, but no location update? Or when you leave an area your location stop being updated? My real problem is how you can drive half a map and still scouted. Well, if you just remove the option to scout with drones, im already fine.

absolutely. I dont really understand why they are using this aproach. Looks like they try to make the battles end faster and more chaotic every update.

controversial opinion, but if gaijin gonna insist in this approach, its the best option.

OTOMATIC and IRIST are the only reliable ways to shot them down. Gun AA with no proxy? Good luck

ermn no you can shoot down with a gepard to if you can do it skill issue
