I believe they should be removed completely. they are unfair due to the below reasons:
Its an RB mode and they turn it into an arcade match, hence you loose your tactical advantage when playing better than the others.
They are indestructible and even can withstand multiple direct hits without any damage.
You have no indication that you have been scouted and you have no countermeasure to the drones (canty be killed by tanks machineguns) so that is unfair.
Scout drones don’t put the user at risk.
Scouting with light tank you are automatically at risk since it requires LOS. If LOS exists you can be targeted.
So yeah, there is s adifference.
Drones don’t have to have line of sight, except that they do. Their risk is being shot down.
The Risk is less, however doesn’t mean it is nonexistent, so it is no different.
The risk is the loss of the drone. So once again, I disagree, cause it means you become a normal tank.
You lose eyes in the sky, a lack of awareness of where the enemy tanks are.
Meaning it’s no different from risking yourself when you are scouting. The benefits are negligible.
Top tier GRB where most if not all the modern tanks have tactical command uplinks.
Drones spotting seems completely realistic to me. What’s unrealistic is air can’t spot.
-caveats-
The marker shouldn’t update if the drone or scout vehicle can’t see you. That means if someone spots you through a building the marker doesn’t move with you because they can’t see you. The marker should slowly fade.
If you move while in smoke the marker should stay in the smoke because that was your last seen position.
I don’t see how that analogy is the same, but whatever you claim, bud, also losing a finger means you will be in rehabilitation for months to relearn how to use your fingers, since your hand becomes reliant on all fingers. If one is missing, then another finger needs to serve said position.
