Scoring?

I would love it if someone, especially from gaijin, could explain this kind of scoring…I am truly baffled by this…

I’m not entirely certain but i’m guessing it has to do with this:

shot 2025.11.21 21.05.37

shot 2025.11.21 21.05.25

Loadout/bomb-type in the first image has way more damage but way less reward multiplier compared to the second.

And then you have the extreme example of using napalm:

Hey, thanks you for the quick reply…I understand about the multiplier if they are different but we both had the same multiplier, he was using 4 x 250kg bombs and I had a single 800kg bomb…I am trying to understand how the tons dropped is so vastly different between what he dropped and what I dropped and why his 4 x 250kg bombs took out a base in a single pass, whereas I had to make 4 drops to kill a base…I am also wondering why the 50kg bombs for him and the 60kg bombs for me add so much more damage…I had always been under the impression that for base killing it was far better to use a single 1000kg bomb than to use 10 x 100kg bombs…I appreciate your help with this…Cheers!!

I strongly recommend to use the replay function next time. Your replay:

Gaijin Entertainment - Single Sign On

You see that the Ju 88 pilots has use 4 x C 250 Flamm (=incendiary bombs) which produces an insane amount of base damage whilst showing a very small TNT output.

This is called the small bomb bonus.

You can test this by using your B7A2 in an Air RB match. Your 800 kg bomb is unable to kill a single base even in a full downtier (0.429 tons of TNT) - whilst 9 x 60 kg (0.28 tons of TNT) kills every base even in a full uptier. U can use the 10th 60 kg bomb to finish a base bombed with a JP 800 kg bomb - or to finish bases bombed with 2 x SC 500s.

Thank you, I did use the replay to try and figure it out but no luck for me…Not really a bomber pilot…If it is that easy to take out bases then that’s what I will use…
