Scimitar Strike: Scimitar Mk.2

From several images, it appears that they do have some kind of anti-fragmentation layer.

Given its specifically designed to help stop losses from heat/IED strikes, very much yeah.

inb4 gaijin, again, claims that British spall lining is “sound proofing”.

The British only like tea and silence; they are quiet people.

These two are the same BR, I don’t think I need to say much more.
Tell me your thoughts on this, I want to make some noise to hopefully get it into a good spot before it launches SMH…
I swear it’s only British vehicles that are balanced like this.

The turret traverse of the scimitar is also half of the warriors

No Russian tank, no special treatment.

It’s not even just that, at this point they kicked in it’s knees and spit on it before it was even playable.

Yea that makes no sense, the composite and slat on the Scimitar Mk.2 literally do nothing. Its not even super fast either, its half the weight of the Warrior but it has half the horsepower.

same top speed too :.(

I’m going to grind it anyway, and let’s see how bad the K/D is once it’s spaded.

8.3 is ridiculous

Literally just the Warrior cut in half.

Same, but I feel it’s just gonna be another trash meme vehicle like the EFV or petard and even those are at least good sometimes

Half the vehicle but the same BR, it’s like saying a kitten is as strong as a lion because the kitten is smaller TT

Warrior is incorrect, should be 75 km/h.

Oh boy, here I go nerfing again. It better be powered traverse this time.

At least it’s powered.

Also, it’s been reported that Scimitar Mk 2 should have Gen 3 thermals which will give it something over the Warrior. It could also get the APFSDS round, which again, will give it something over Warrior.

The Scimitar Mk2 should have a better thermal sight (for the shooter and driver) since the Scimitar Mk2 is from 2012 and the Warrior in the game would be from 1991.

I know, gotta tell the tech mods to stop declining those reports. Lol.

This is the latest one.

The Warrior in game is from 2003-2005, because it has both BGTI and MILAN.

But yeah the Scimitar 2 should have TVD2 because it has the same sight as Warrior (BGTI).

Then it wouldn’t be bad to give Warrior the Milan 3 since according to the dates it would be the one he should have in 2003.
On the other hand, it would be interesting if they added this Warrior as well.

The UK didn’t buy MILAN 3. It needs a new firing post to use the EOIRCM feature. By the late 1990s when MILAN 3 was developed, we were already looking to replace MILAN, so had little incentive to upgrade it.
More cost effective to continue using MILAN 2 missiles with UK-built K115 warheads.
MILAN only remained in service as long as it did because TRIGAT was cancelled, and there was a reasonably large inventory of missiles to run down.
