But that’s due to tanks being pretty bad overall. And it’s only bad compared to the screen. It should be worse, the view from inside the hatch would stil be worse.
Get a wing chair, you can use the wings as handles for easier movement, similar to the handles on a fighters canopy.
In addition to that it doesn’t look out of place in a living room, so win-win
