I believe, if Gaijin were to add SAM sites to GRB, it would be a great change.
Firstly, it would either encourage teamwork, with a plane performing SEAD while the other ground strikes (which could give the Wild Weasel an achievement for every ground kill made by CAS while he’s suppressing the air defenses), or at least reduce the ordnance a plane carries for ground strikes since it’ll have to carry ARMs.
Secondly, it would significantly lower CAS effectiveness, since the planes will be forced to low altitude, making using targeting pods or having situational awareness a lot more difficult.
Lastly, I would suggest changing the spawn-in distance for top-tier CAS, as a Su-30SM could probably still shoot its Kh-38MTs immediately and defend the incoming missiles.
