• Improve the penetration calculator, bullets, and volumetric armor.
• Give all bullets in the game realistic damage, and then rebalance by separating tanks with HEAT-FS from those in WWII.
• Improve the maps, making them much larger, better balanced, and with less CQC.
• Adjust radar-equipped SPAAs, making them function more realistically, with SPAAs having better and worse radars, so that a VADS has more difficulty shooting them down, while a Gepard or Marksman has an easier time against aircraft that don’t change course.
• Longer matches (previously 45 minutes), and require more points to spawn aircraft or helicopters.
• Reinstate the separation of matchmaking by allied or allied nations.
• Improve map randomness so they don’t repeat continuously (I’ve been playing the same six maps for about five months).
• With larger maps, add another capture zone (A-B-C-D).
• Increase the number of respawn zones from two to six, distributed around the map’s perimeter, and with realistic respawn randomness.
I think that with these points the game would be somewhat better, more fun and fair.
YES, YES, YES, YES!!!, Point three: REMOVE covered corridors that lead to enemy spawn or near it (Sinai, Karelia, partially carpathians). Pradesh is nice looking but it is stupid Camper festival…

If you have played since the beta, and have not saw how war thunder has gone downhil under Gaijin recently then you dont really play the game. So if theres an issue with the game, no one is allowed to say anything and we just have to put up with it? Having looked at your stats i can see you mainly play air arcade which explains why you have no idea on any of the actual issues in the game that happen in realistic battles…
I’m missing three more points.

Which is truly unfortunate, because if there was a game like War Thunder with better devs, I would jump ship without looking back.
Gaijin knows they have no real competitors, so they know they can get away with being greedy and lazy.
In fact that’s the biggest problem.

There we go, didnt take long for something that wasnt inappropriate at all to be removed, just highlights even more the issues that Gaijin have with discussions that go against their ideas.

I had my troubles with that game (Server, Ghostshell, maps, stupid players with no sense of strategic/tactic overall) As i said a few times now, it’s a Free-to-Play-Game. You don’t need to pay money to play it. And at this point, WT is fairer than other Games. Most of my Premiums i get by warbonds, drops and Events. Or for Golden Eagles i get with tasks and for a few T1/T2-vehicles i really paid for. With the Germans, Brits, Japanese and SU i have 8 Crews. That are, where i pay for. All the Rest depends on activity.
The Matchmaking was even worse than today. At the Beginning a few SU-Vehicles (especially Planes) were Overpowered. RB has seen a lot of changes, about 2 years ago it was a pain flying planes in RB above 4.0. You had nearly no Groundtargets. It all changed with Maps like Hürtgen or Frontline. The 20mm gun of the Germans were at the beginning totally overpowered. After a nerf they were nearly useless. Today they’re really good and balanced. Much planes/tanks were moved higher/lower in BR & Tier. And that’s totally ok. I list only a few features they were changed over the years. And again, yes the Game has problems, but IT’s A FREE-TO-PLAY-game. Take it or leave it.
Maybe you’re blind or unable to read statistics right. I have nearly 17k Battles with RB. I don’t play arcade since years anymore. Because RB is more effective (SL/Research)
Yeah, I must partially agree with you, expect some weird releases of OP vehicles, that were nerfed after, the game itself isn ´t much P2W. That is the reason I still love it. That is one of the reason I left WoT (the second was flood of stupid non existing vehicles).
I agree, new gamemodes would be huge for the game, instead of just arcade and realistic and sim

Exactly. Look at all the issues that have been constantly highlighted that continue to go ignored by Gaijin:
- Crazily lop-sided matchmaking
- Broken damage model
- Poor map design
- CAS issues for ground battles
- Constantly increasing grind
- Endless bugs in the software
- Substantial increase in cheats and bots
- OP tanks like BMPT
etc, etc, etc
Instead they turn their backs on the community and waste time introducing stuff like cookie cutter cloned Premium vehicles and infantry that virtually nobody asked for. The moment another dev launches a VIABLE alterative to WT, I’d imagine the WT playerbase would evaporate. As you said, the lack of an alternative and the time players have invested here have made Gaijin VERY lazy and complacent. Shame.
