I think if they just watch the Q&A I’ve talked earlier rather than just looking at the trailer on their youtube page, maybe a lot will change opinion toward Gaijin.
Perhaps another one needs to be done.
To be fair what did you expect, and its always the same people that defend them (certain two communites most notibly known for mass cheating across all of gaming and seem to be the only ones gaijin take advice from/listen to).
I defend Warthunder, because i’m playing it since the Beta. There are enough points to discuss, but most of the Arguments the thread-beginner are talking about are completely Bullshit. If you don’t like the ppl who defend Warthunder i recommend to play an other game. Because most of you ppl are the problems in WT
The Main-Problem are the players himself. Most of em playing with no brain and tactical/strategic knowledge. And most of them have a lot of Matches or they have a 2nd Account with killratio above 2, but winning less than 40%(!) of their Matches. Whining about the grind, instead to check how they can fasten their research.
You are just bd . since you’ve been playing since beta, you’re trying to convince yourself that this game is good.As long as there are people like you, there won’t be any progress in this game.Because why would it? Oh, the radars aren’t working, the damage models are broken, every update breaks the game, and before it gets fixed, a new update comes along and breaks the game even more, but you think this game is normal. You have a nice mindset

Clown xD There’s still progress in this game since the beta. Take it or leave it. You disqualified yourself as you wrote “it’s a game to generate money.” So after that, you only whining and wrote BS. The updates doesn’t broke the game. When you’re unable to composate the changes, YO are the Problem not the game.

Every thread put forth in this game is worth a read. It’s a forum for christ’s sake. Stop complaining and read what others have to say and respond. If you think it’s stupid just ignore it. I don’t understand how you playing since Beta puts you on a pedestal. A newcomer’s opinion is just as valid as yours.
The Problem the Thread-Beginner is worrying about that, the Devs doesn’t do what he wants. And again: It’s a FREE-TO-PLAY-Game not a AAA-Title, so don’t expect too much. And WT is okey for me, even the problems they exist since the Beginning.

Believe me, you DON’T want to play this game at the beginning or as the Tanks were involved. If the Rockets and the MM is your most problem, so let me say: There’s a lot happen since the beginning. You guys set wrong standards.
The past is the past. There’s nothing wrong with always trying to improve the game.

Stop replying to this guy, he is probably a staff ragebaiting to get people away from the main point. Honestly, just stop replying to him, blacklist him and let him be.
Imagine you spend so much money and time to a game just to see that devs are dragging the game you love to the ground. You go to the forum to see to voice your concern and maybe impact the game to get better and then this guy shows up and says stop whining. Why y’all still taking him seriously? Just let him be.

By the way, the narrative of free to play game is utter nonsense as if bunch of plane and tank lovers got together and working and trying their best to make the game better VOLUNTARILY. We live in a capitalist world, and nothing is free in this world. To your understanding: first of all you have to invest money to a PC or console to play this game. Second, this is a pay to progress game, you would have to spend hundreds of hours to get to the jets without paying any money. That being said, lastly; you are investing your time. The game is heavily based on the amount of people who are playing it. Nobody would want to pay for premiums only to play in empty lobbies so even if you are not paying money, you are still exchanging your time in order to fill up lobbies. There is an exchange of goods right there. Gaijin depends on the payed players as much as unpayed players. That is how they make millions of euros, dollars, rubles whatever.
If you think anything is free in this world, you are delusional.
Facebook, instagram, tiktok, twitch and many more, these are all “free” platforms and yet their worth is on the multi billions if not trillions of dollars. Take a deep breath and think about this for one second before writing something.
Having said all that, i do not believe the good people who are working on this game hate the player base. However, i also cannot possibly say that they care about us either. We do invest into this game one way or another. Hell, just coming here and writing something about it is investing my time in exchange for them getting more clicks or action in their platform. This is how online businesses work.
And as we exchange goods here whether being money or time, we do have the right to demand imporvement. It is not a coincidence that after every single update, the game breakes for many people, they release half completed vehicles, many bugs appear etc.
I find two fundemantal problems on these habits. One is that there is a barrier (for the lack of a better word) between the developers and player base. Player base is quite young and they do not know how to articulate their frustration with a constructive criticism. There is a lot of hate going around and that leads Gaijin to isolate the developers and not take people seriously.
And the second one and I believe the most fundamental one is the game is lacking the quality check. In many games, the developing stage happens in Alpha servers that is the dev servers in here. Then it is implemented to Beta servers to eliminate all the bugs before going live. Gaijin is skipping a step and releasing uncompleted, full of bugs updates.
Moreover, the quality check should also include the quality check in the game play. I am an air player so I can only give examples from the air battles that the last gen fighters still fight in a cramped up small maps trying to fit 30 players who carry literally hundreds of fox3 missiles. This is INSANE!
The game play is completely broken. It is not my fault that I want this product that they make millions off of it having regular quality checks and it needs to get better and unbroken after investing hundreds of hours, if not thousands. I did not sign into a broken game. The game got broken after I had already invested my time. The habit right now is the game releases a broken update and then until the next update, there is no quality check, rather just fixing the problems that had to be fixed in dev (beta) servers. Why is it such an unimaginable request to fix this?
And if you have read this far thank you. I hope we can learn a thing from each other and I hope that instead of calling each others names, we can find a middle ground to get this game that we all love playing better.

The roadmap was announced prior to any alleged boycotts.
Your timeline is wrong and are suffering the Mandela Effect.
A forum riot occurred, then Gaijin reverted the economy and opened up feedback directly to their internal servers. They then announced there would be a roadmap on the same day.
Around 6 - 8 hours after the feedback form was opened, a Steam review bomb started. Which would take credit for everything despite starting hours after the economy was reverted and feedback opened.
At the end of it, only ~15,000 responses were recorded in the feedback system.

The boycott occurred days to weeks after the Steam review bombing started, which itself was over 6 hours after the economy changes were reverted and feedback was opened to everyone.
The contributor to the economy being reverted was the great forum riot that started days prior across over 3 languages.
Poorly documented, and occurred the same year Gaijin moved to this new forum, so the only priority for documentation was the suggestions.
The only thing I documented was the time of the forum post announcing the economy reversion and a link to the feedback page.
The first day of the economy revert was the most chaotic.
A lot of groups starting up to attempt to claim to be the cause of the reversion when none of them were.
It was the thousands of randos on the forums, all coming together to oppose a bad economy update in many languages.

The Review Bombing started in the afternoon of the 18th, same day, as players considered that.
I´m playing since 2015 or 2016. Playing only GF - realistic (I played naval battles, but after intoducing some stupid WW I sheet that was ROFLstomping everything I leaved). I am crybaby and I don ´t care…
1), 2) - crucify me, but i find game stable enough and I don´t know that people crash (maybe it is deal, but i simply don ´t realise it…I crashed now and then and it is not something that put me in anger…I doon ´t know)
3) Agree, don ´t know if Gaijin make it for money or just bad testing and decision but there were many cases of this (Premium released, ROFLstomped everything, make game at that BR barely playable against that nation and then nerf comes…since 2015)
4) YES, YES, YES, matchmaking SUCKS, constantly uptiered, constantly…and I don ´t care that some say it is problem that there is more high BR players (fck that I ´m 10-11 at german tree - feel free to call me „germany sufferer“). I´ d rather wait for a few minutes to go into some fair batlle instead of tossing me right now in stupid battle that is more pain than fun and ends in Ó-megastomp and spawnkillling crap (in favor of one nation with flag of sickle and hammer in red that changes to red, blue and white stripes).
5) Have no problem with it, there is plenty fun vehicles and if i don ´t want to grind i played that old ones. I ´m playing for fun , not grind - but that is me, I don ´t blame everybody that is playing for progres - it is a fair goal to play game for many players.
6) Yeah, I ´m not angred by that that heavily, but it is problem
7) Crew experience doesn ´t anger me. Have clear neutral feeling about crew.
If someone says that it is free game so don ´t comply - he is COMPLETLY out of reality. Like someone mentioned - there is MANY products that are free with good care (inastagram, Libreoffice, many other games…). I don ´t know , maybe it is not worth to even reply on that crap. Of course feedback from community is important if you make something that you want make money on. Economic model doesn ´t matter with that fact…
