T-90M: bad reload, bad shell, 2 Gen thermals, bad reverse, deadly autoloader (weakspot), relies too much in ERA.
T-80BVM: bad shell, meh reverse, even more deadlier autoloader (weakspot), relies too much in ERA too.
even more, T-90M is lacking multiple things rn, just like 3rd Gen thermals or it’s respective APS.

Volumetric armor is weaker than non-volumetric armor due to no overlapping plates. ERA ain’t that.
And volumetric rounds buffed heavy tanks more than all other tanks.
And T-80BVM’s breech only matters if you’re stock grinding, otherwise its entire turret where ERA isn’t placed is lol-penned by L27A1 to M829A2.

but if player cant get KD over 1 with JA37Di when the global average with said aircraft is above 1, question should be asked whenever said player knows how to play it.
after the ammount of games ive played in the cr2s l27a1 cant really lolpen a bvm with the trunnion and its happened so many times i dont really go for the breech much anymore

amazing armor: only if u don’t know how to aim, which would be rare at TOPTIER.
weird volumetric with the ERA and breech: in my life i have seen volumetric in a russian tank with exceptions like IS-2 and other WW2 tanks, just like any other tank in the game, this is not especifically something that happens to Russia. i could tell u how multiple times i have survived in my M36 just cuz the breech is so goddamn big it absorbs all the damage.
good gun handling: like any other toptier tank? Leopard 2A4M has better gun handling and it’s a NATO tank.
3BM60 is a good shell: not as good as DM53/M829A2, which are way better in all aspects.
T-80BVM
good shell: same shell as T-90M.
meh reverse: 11km/h is not comparable to 28-38km/h from most NATO tanks, tho it’s better than Proryv’s reverse, is still a bad reverse.
deadly autoloader (still doesn’t always ammo rack): that’s a skill issue and a lack of knowledge from ur part. ammo and autoloader are 2 separated things. u can hit the autoloader and not the ammo, which doesn’t mean “russian bias” or that “russian tanks are better”, it’s just poor aiming.
good mobility: not gonna doubt that, it’s a very light tank with an engine as strong as the one found in the stock Leopards.
amazing gund handling: again, like any other toptier tank? Leopard 2A4M has better gun handling.
decent reload speed: tho u can still get out-reloaded by manual loading capable tanks, u need an Ace crew to do that, so yeah it has decent/good reload speed.
weird volumetric breech: trunnions, same case for T-90M.

shooting between the ERA or below the ERA in a knife fight is a huge gamble but yes it can pen there

If you can hit the Abrams turret ring, you can hit the non-ERA part of BVM’s turret even easier.
russian autoloaders do seem to have unlisted extra armor plates around autoloader for increased survivablity.
as recently as this dev, T-72M1s did recieve another armor plating around autoloader
how can a 10mm armor plate around the autoloader “increase the survivability”? u’re hitting it before hitting the ammo, which means it will get ammo racked anyway if u aim correctly.
u aren’t hitting the ammo rack of a Leopard 2A7V from it’s side without destroying the blowout panel first.
