if hit directly, yes.
if not, for whatever reason, it chatches spall, thus increases survivability. its no different to spall liners if not better since its not gone after single shot.

leopard 2a4m has the same gun handling and no not like every other top tier tank for example the bvm and t90 gun handling is better than the following: challenger 2s (all) challenger 3 type 10 tkx vt4a1 ztz99a merkava mk4 (all).
reload speed is the advantages of an autoloader u dont need to upgrade crew for it
3bm60 is a good shell if u dont compare it to the 2 best top tier rounds 3bm60 is a better/on par round than: l27a1 dc10-125 ofl-120-f1 and slpprj m/95
the breech from experience fighting russia is constantly non penning with l27a1 in places where it shouldnt

not sure, people more qualified should answer that. I can only say that from all the times i got to sit in T-72M4CZs i sure as hell didnt see any “armor” around the carousel, just the construcion steel from which the carousel is made of.
Those stats are massively inflated by your lower tier lineups which aren’t very hard to play.
1.2 K/D in the 2A4M is cute, 1.2 K/D in the T-80UD is concerning and 1.1 K/D T-72B3 arena is also something, but I will excuse the B3 arena as stock grind.

also if u wanna compare stats your most recent session with the amx m4 is 7 kills to 4 deaths. thats dissapointing for someone shaming other peoples stats

The neck of the Abrams and T-80 are the same objective size, and thus it looks larger on the T-80BVM because the BVM is smaller.
The smaller the object, the larger weakspots of the same size look.
i honestly dont know if thats true or not but the abrams neck is definitely taller and easier to pen
and at the same time is a disadvantage since if it breaks u can’t reload manually and the enemy can just shoot to the ammo and make u fly 250m.
L27A1, DC10-125, OFL-120-F1 and Slpprj m/95 are all good shells if u don’t compare them with anything else, that’s why i’m comparing them, u should do so.

problem is your comparing 3bm60 to dm53 and m829a2 which are obviously better shells but 3bm60 is average compared to most other top tier shells
u explained why it doesnt pen but it should pen irl so therefore it is incorrect and should be nerfed.
2a5 has 1st gen thermals at 12.3 cause of better armour better shell and better mobility.
and your right dm53 doesnt stop it 110% of the time yet it still happens 100% more on russian tanks than nato tanks.
It destabilizes it more than it should so it can absolutely demolish its pen.
T80UD armour VS m829A1 is pretty much a one tap always clean through the UFP.
the thing about russian tanks is they have next to no survivability once penned.

- it’s not thaaat good, it’s a T-72B3 without the OP mod that upgrades it massively with the new engine and 0.3 BR lower, so it isn’t anything really spectacular, the APS system is the only thing that makes it good (no Wiesel 1A2 flanking u with the ugly TOW).

and instead of having issues aiming for russian weakspots, i usually one shot any russian tank no matter if it’s BMPT or T-90M (dawg, 12.7 T-90M vs. 12.0 Leopard 2A4M with worse armor, what am i gonna do!? i’m so cooked!), something it looks like u can’t do.
complaining about russian tanks being good while having 0.5 K/D in ur most played toptier russian tank (which is also a premium, funny how u claim the only toptier tank i have is a premium when u also never touched a single tank of which u’re talking about and only used premium ones).

a non spaded t62 and a non spaded cheiftain. against a fully spaded 62m1 fair comparison.
also ive played both the t90m and t80bvm round a friends house a couple times so i think i can have a decent enough say on it
funnily enough, i have had a beautiful experience with the T-72B3 “Arena”, it’s a very balanced tank for 11.0, tho it lacks good reverse like any other russian tank and has deadly weakspots.
the 3BM42 is enough to pen everything at that BR and even in uptiers, i can’t wait for the 3BM60, it looks so good for 11.0.
